About the Author
L. Ann Buscher's works span the creative media, winning honors from The National League of American Pen Women for numerous writings in multiple genres, as well as The California State Poetry Association and The Florida State Writer's Society. Buscher's work has appeared in numerous small press publications including several magazines and news publications in Washington, California, Arizona, Idaho and New Mexico, as well as abroad. Buscher is also an award-winning photographer and artist. A product of Washington State, Buscher currently resides in Southern California while finishing works of poetry, children's fiction and adult inspirational books. Recently retiring from her passion for equitation, Buscher has re-entered her prior occupation of Interior Design. In her downtime, her focus is on family, friends, and Big Mickey D, her four pound Chihuahua. Despite living with a very rare neuromuscular disease, L. Ann Buscher continues to follow a creative path and feels this is a crucial part of dealing with her limitations. As Buscher says, "There are only two choices when told you have an untreatable, progressive disease. You can live with it, or you can die with it. I choose to live, the best way I know how."
