Once a thief is book one in Protector Sweethearts Series. This is a Christian romance suspense by Jan Thompson. I enjoyed this story. The story and the characters both were ell written. There is lots of characters in this story. The author keeps you guessing through the story. There is action, suspense, intrigue, and danger. I liked God’s love through the story. Private Investigator, Helen, teams up with an art thief to find Mama Hu. A race with time. Will they find Mama Hu ? What happen to her and why? Is once a thief always a thief? This story takes up after a span of several years has gone by. Can’t wait to read book two.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
I received a free copy of Once Upon Thief by Jan Thompson and this review was given freely.
This is a fast paced clean Christian romantic suspense novella set mainly in Greece and Crete. It has a complex plot spanning many years and many countries and is built around art thieves who are related to a family of American PIs. There are a few gaps. But overall, this a good short novel filled with action, some violence, faith in God and ends in a cliffhanger.
