Good for long reads I would have given 4 stars but for author going off
Top reviews from other countries

Plus :-
- Writing is simple & easy and you can read it in one or two sitting.
- Reference of previous book 'Girl in Room 105' brings back memories of beautiful Zara Lone.
- There are many characters and when placed well it increases the fun and.. suspense gets bigger.
- For me it was impossible to figure out who the murderer is until writer decided to reveal.
- Previous one and this book, both have movie worthy story.
- Keshav and Sourabh, make blend of perfect friend chemistry between them.
Minus :-
- Some pages were hard to read esp when the main culprit shares the reason for killing.
- Reading testimony of Malhotra Family in excruciating details was pain. Though it was necessary.
- If we consider story and attachment with characters, pervious book had bigger impact on me.
- Lovelorn Keshav over womanizer Keshav, any day. (This is just a personal opinion. Nothing to do with ratings).

Ok, talking about the book. If you have read Chetan Bhagat in the past you will understand this. "it is a typical Chetan Bhagat Book". What I mean is -
*you don't have to sit with the dictionary,
*you would want to finish reading this in one go. (I took two nights since I read on weekdays after work),
*There is no eye-opener, heart-wrenching, thought-provoking moments. You just enjoy reading it out of curiosity and the juiciness.
I don't want to send out spoilers since this is a new book and I would let people buy their copy and judge. But I had a lot of exciting and relatable moments, as the story is set up in NCR.
I would just want to conclude with this. "Love it or hate it, you can't miss a Chetan Bhagat book.

Well, actually I am a fan of Chetan Bhagat. Have purchased all his books so far. But ain't too sure whether I will continue to do so in times to come!!
However, for one, I would say that the title 'One Arranged Murder' isn't too apt for the book. It kinda gives away certain aspects. The reader, ab initio, knows that the death is a murder, whereas the book takes too long to establish this fact.
Secondly, Chetan seems to have written it keeping a Hindi Movie producer in mind who would buy the rights for a hefty sum. Thus, it looses it's ingenuity there.
The book has all the typical Hindi Movie masala in abundance. Pre marital & Extramarital Sex, drugs, murder, incest, two wannabe detectives, dysfunctional family, children born out of wedlock, deceit and what have you.
But my compliments for a very lucid writing. It's a good one time read. The twists, too, are well thought out. However, the end seems a trifle too contrived.
Go for it if you are a Chetan Bhagat fan.

His last book A Girl In Room No. 105 was really good. And I had huge expectations from his next book too.
The newly launched One Arranged Murder is another thriller mystery story from the writer. It has a good story, the plots and twists are interesting.
Its been few hours since I started reading this one. And all I can say is that Chetan Bhagat has done a good job.
I won't share spoilers or any major plot twists. But if you're Chetan Bhagat fan then you can try this one out.

lovers of detective books. At the end you would be disappointed to have guessed the mystery correctly long back.
While the story has logical flaws galore it also lacks the political undertone of the previous one. That undertone was the soul of the book. The backdrop of the pain of Kashmir valley gave it depth. The murder mystery setup gave the book a commercial pull but the reader took away the sadness on the unfairness. the situation.
This story has no depth or soul and the murder mystery is just as superficial as the punjabi family backdrop. There is no humour or thrill. The twists are predictable and the details are superficial. The lead character is extremely unlikable and side kick is repulsive at best. Their chemistry and camaraderie is inconsistent and unconvincing.
The only good character is the villain. This character has more morality and nuance than all others put together . You are more in love with this person than the 2 idiot detectives.
