I look forward to reading more books by this author, I'd like to see the story between Hannah and Trenton (Daisyn's and Ryder's friends), as well as a story where Rose (Daisy's sister) is a main character.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. I am reviewing this book for Kylie's Fiction Addiction.
Daisy and her family have fallen on hard times. Ryder Blake is living two lives. The two meet each other during a national media event that follows the arrangement of a marriage for a unknown billionaire who must marry by his thirtieth birthday! They are immediately drawn to one another but Daisy is chosen as a potential bride! They embark on a thrilling, sexy, balancing act meant to give Daisy "One Last Fling" before she is possibly chosen as the bride!
These characters were so much fun to follow and were very nicely developed by the end of the book. The secondary characters were a fun mix that gave us everything from a short description to enough to make you wonder if a second book will be written! There weren't any major shake ups but just enough adventure to give you a quick, enjoyable weekend read. This included one of my favorite elements in a book - hot, sexy scenes!
I am giving this book 4 firm stars as at times I had a hard time following the transition of who was speaking whom. But, I totally recommend this book!
Leila Lou Dahlin gave us a super fun way to invest some quality downtime!

*** This book was gifted to me by the author for an honest review.***
This was a sweet romance of finding who you are and pleasing yourself instead of living in dread. Daisy was offered the world but being a taster was most appealing.
Leela Lou Dahlin was incredibly successful in delivering a sweet & sexy romance story that left me wanting more.
It was a sweet easy read that tugged on your heartstrings.
We meet Daisy who is trying to do right by her family and is in the running to be the Billionaire Bride of the mystery man but she's not sure from the start if it's really who she is or something she can do but she puts on a brave front for her family and friends and eventually she is one of two women left but during her trials as future bride she meets an amazing man named Ryder, who she inadvertently falls head over heels for, which only adds to her turmoil as to whether she is doing the right thing or not.
Ryder is a brilliant chef who is pushed to the back burner by her family and friends because he's only a 'chef' and she's got bigger fish to fry so to say. He's witty and charming and falls just as quickly for Daisy as she does for him but then it's left hanging, what does she do? Does she continue on in the 'contest' as she calls it or does she call it quits and follow her heart not entirely knowing if Ryder feels the same.
The only way you'll get those answers is to pick up this book and take a read all of your own, you won't be disappointed.
I think the author did a fabulous job of telling a really great story in a short amount of time as the book only spans four weeks. She made it easy to connect with the characters and they were complex in their own way. I was also pleasantly surprised I ended up not completely hating Hannah at the end of the book and even her mom redeemed herself. I kind of hope if the author were to continue another story about these characters that we'll find out more about the Hannah/Trenton situation and maybe even Rose will get her own story, I feel like there is a good one there.
