Im not going to go into the plot or characters or romance, but let me say this: If you are looking for an amazing romance that will have you impatiently turning pages, (I read this in one delightful sitting)read ONE MORE NIGHT.
Blanche makes her characters come alive with her words and story telling gift. You will fall in love with sexy mineralogist Rock from the first page, identify with the lovely, sensual Celeste, and laugh out loud at the eccentric personality of Aunt Clara. As for the mystical old Indian man and the gems that Rock digs for, you'll have to read the story!
If you've never read Blanche's books, I urge you to cruise her back list; her work is flawless, and she can sculpt and create a romance like no one else.
ONE MORE NIGHT is a story that I will read over and over again.
I've read at least one of the author's books before, so was familiar with her writing. This, however was a different setting, different circumstances so the entire story was "new". I was interested from page one.
This was a story that had a young "sophisticated city" girl falling for a - rock hound??? I found myself chuckling at that. I could see so many things that "might/could" happen and had to keep reading to discover just what was going to occur next. And the romance? Only way to describe it - hot!
