Lily Dean was on her way to give Brock Wilson a piece of her mind and is shocked when she walks into his office and finds a women there on her knees - trying to propose to Brock. When out of no where, Brock advises the woman that he can't because he is already married to Lily. The story that follows is amazing and will keep you totally wrapped up trying to figure out exactly where it will end!!!
I will warn you - this is another one that you won't want to put down until you reach the end!!!! Time to read book 3 of the series now!!!
They are bickering frenemies with preconceived notions about each other. Then they are thrown together in the unlikeliest of fake marriages and lots of mayhem ensues, especially with a very crazy ex thrown in for good measure. To me, Lily was very rigid and abrupt but we learn that she has reasons for how she lives her life. She doesn’t think much of Brock, either. And then there is Brock. Oh boy. If ever someone had a bad rep – without good reason, IMHO – he is the poster boy. I loved him and my heart went out to him. For me, he was the kindest, most thoughtful, frenemy/business rival/fake husband I’ve read. I just wanted to give him a hug and let him know that things should get better! And of course, they did, but it was touch and go for a while…
The Deans and the Wilsons are matchmakers extraordinaire but sometimes, they can’t see what is right in front of them.
This was a sweet, clean romance. This is the second of the series and could really be read as a stand-alone. The author did a great job of bring the first book into this one. I adored the multi-POVs that this book was written in. It really did seems to make the plot flow smoothly and easily.
Brock Wilson went out with a woman name Julie. Turns out she really is obsessed with him. Brock breaks it off with her during the second date. Unbeknownst to him, she turns into a stalker. When she visits him at his office and proposes, Lily Dean just happens to walk in. To get out of the mess with Julie, Brock introduces Lily as his wife. Reading the mayhem that follows was a delightful tale.
I adored getting caught up with Roman and Taylor from the first book. Also we learn a little more about a few more of the Wilson brothers and of the Dean sisters.
Again this is a sweet, clean romance of enemies coming together for the greater good. I recommend this book to anyone.
This is a great, great series! I could easily see the series expanding beyond the Wilson and Dean families to start encompassing some of the visitors that flock to the town of Mistletoe to get their own perfect match from one or even both of the matchmaking families!

Brock and Lily are really quite similar characters underneath all the front they put on, a lovely couple and an amusing story with some romantic suspense.
