I said my final goodbye to Tyler and even though I read 47 Things two years ago, I still felt like it had been just yesterday that my heart had been broken. I never got over it and when the author announced a sequel, I was super excited and dying for an ARC.
This book was EVERYTHING; raw, heartbreaking and realistic. My emotions were all over the place (the FEELS were strong with this one). The author did an amazing job at describing how Sarah was feeling throughout the book. Sarah was able to fall in love again, but that didn't mean she had forgotten her first love, Tyler. Jude was like heaven sent for her. He had his own demons to sort out, but he was perfect with her son, Ty. Patient, understanding, hot-nerdy type with so much love for Sarah. They both stopped existing, began to live again and got their second chance at a happily ever after.
I can't thank the author enough for writing this sequel and giving us all closure. She did an amazing, overall job with the story; the flow and everything was consistent. I can't wait for Rigby's spinoff and to read more from this author! One More Thing mended my heart and I cannot give it enough stars!
Now it is two years later, and Sarah's story is about to continue. Will it be a life of forever grieving and remembering Tyler? Or, will Lilliana allow love to find Sarah again?
A word of warning, even though ONE MORE THING can be rea as a standalone, you really should read 47 THINGS first, in order to gain a full understanding of Sarah's story - her love and her loss. Tissues are a definite must, as this one will break your heart even more.
Going in blind is the best way to approach this continuation - in this way reactions and emotions will be a lot more realistic and spontaneous. This one will certainly pull at all of your emotions - even after you have finished it. This is one almighty book hangover.
A highly recommended read. Ms Anderson at her brilliant best, once again.

Lillian did another amazing job with this book.
Everyone deserves to find their closure to a heartache.
I just love how Jude and Sarah came together and help find that closure that each needed to find.
Fair warning it WILL make you cry so hard because you can feel the emotions come from Sarah. Just make sure you have plenty of tissues.
Amazing job Lillian Anderson!! Amazing job!
I liked this book and it gave a really good sequel to Sarah's life after Tyler's death.
It deals with the grief in the most sensitive way and how challenging it is to move on with life.
But,and here is the problem I had with the book, the thing I enjoyed most in this book were Tyler's Journal entries while this book is about Jude and Sarah.
I liked Jude but it feels like I wasn't that connected to him, he had a rough story as well but it wasn't on my focus as I read the book and I understand how his character evolved but I didn't feel that connected to him as I did to Tyler and Sarah.
I did find the complex relationship with Susan interesting it added to the layers in Sarah's life but it was resolved behind the scenes and I would have loved to read more about that.
Overall, if you read the first book i would recommend this one as well. it provides a good closure.
One More Thing again had me hooked from the blurb.
This story, Sarah's happy ever after is jyst as powerful and emotive and involving as her and Tylers story.
Deserves more than 5 stars
