Avoiding a constitutional framework when discussing American politics is also a concern but I understand why the authors may have left that out. I just find it difficult to have a meaningful discussion on U.S. politics without reference to the Constitution.
Overall, it's a good book that I will recommend to Christians who want an introduction to how they may engage political discussions from a Christian worldview.
I didn't agree with everything said, but I think that's okay because there are some areas where I really need to be challenged still.
I'd definitely recommend it - especially with elections coming up soon. It's important for Christians to be involved with politics and make their voices heard but only if that's done with love with the purpose of glorifying God.
