What a talented band this is. I saw them in concert opening for New Pornographers in Chicago and they were fabulous. I hope they get the attention they deserve.

This is a great trio! I love these guys! Just listen to the drumming alone. The song writing is wonderful. The band looks good. I own all of their music and you will not be unhappy if you get one of their c.d.s These people are truly one of the up and coming new generation bands . It is inspirational music. I love them!

At best, this band is passable. The music is unmemorable, the vocals are weak, and the band itself is unengaging. I saw them open for the New Pornographers on tour, and despite their ear-catching name, should have figured they'd fit the formula. What formula is that, you ask? The one where you go to see an indie rock band of the level of New Pornographers - that is to say, a band that is unique, talented, and has a following but hasn't crossed over into much radio play, or money-lining-the-pockets album sales - and you pray to whatever you choose to pray to that there will only be one opening band. Because as the bands move down the line up, so the assault to your ears increases proportionately. Immaculate Machines was the first band in a three band line up. By definition, they had to be awful.

Though their music was completely forgettable, their own self congratulatory commentary on their own creativity has become a running joke around here. Example:

one band member: Alright! Now we're going to play another really cool song for you!

another band member: AWESOME!!!!

Sounded like a pep rally for the losing team, not indie rock. This is not recommended.

When I saw this band, I said "werd... this is ill". They sound kinda like some other bands I've heard too. Kinda like a cross between Mystery Facelift and Killing Flowers. You have probably never heard of those other bands, but that is okay, because slimshady69 is way more up on his "ish" than any of you. So take his word for it. They will make you feel horny. In a good way. You simply must get this album. Or don't. Like slimshady69 gives a #@&^. He just wants to slam the keyboard chick! Whatsup baby? How you doin? I hope she doesn't have a boyfriend in the band, because the next time she comes through Parkville, Wisconsin, I will have candles ready in the bathtub. Straight gentlemanly steez, maybe a bottle of wine. Some soul music. Thats right biatch.
