RALPH MILLER is a children's book and one for adults too. It is cleverly written, simple and hilarious! It is completely satisfying -- a small masterpiece! --Philip A. Sadler, Co-Director, Children's Literature Festival, CMSU
About the Author
David Melton is one of the most versatile and prolific talents on the literary scene today. His works span the gamut of factual prose, analytical essays, newsreporting, magazine articles, features, short stories, poetry, and novels in both the adult and juvenile fields. In 17 years, 24 of his books have been published, and several of those have been translated into a number of languages. Mr. Melton has illustrated several books, including 10 of his own, and his drawings and paintings have been reproduced as fine art prints, posters, record covers, etc., and been featured in national publications. He has also gained a wide reputation as a guest speaker and teacher.
To encourage and celebrate the creativity of students, Mr. Melton has developed the highly acclaimed teacher's manual, Written and Illustrated By..., which is used in thousands of schools to teach students to write and illustrate original books by "The Melton Method." To provide opportunities for students to become professionally published authors and illustrators, he helped initiate The National Written and Illustrated By... Awards Contest for Students.
