About the Author
Seven times USA Today Bestselling Author Lacey Silks writes erotic and contemporary romances with a touch of suspense. Her stories come from her life, dreams and fantasies. She’s a happily married wife with two kids who uses her husband to test out the more intimate scenes for her writing – he said he doesn’t mind it at all. Lacey likes to make her readers blush and experience the story as if they were the characters. Drawing on the reader’s most sensitive emotions through realistic stories satisfies her more than… …ok not really, but you get the point ;) She likes a pinkish shade on a woman’s cheeks, men with large feet and sexy lingerie-especially when it’s torn off the body. Her favorite piece of clothing is a birthday suit.

This was such a good read!! Every time i thought I had the plot figured out something new happened...
It's such a good book. Will not spoil it with details, but will say only this : read it and you will have an awesome time!!!
This is a love story that spans more than 24 years of trials, tribulations, insane plots, and vengeance. The story seems to begin as the bride, Alexandra Langs is left at the altar when the groom, Jackson Knight is kidnaped on their wedding day. .. the only hint I can give..... all is definitely not what it seems....
I am totally captivated by Alex and Jackson's story and the love that burns so bright between them, I kept waiting for everything around them to ignite! and I don't think it's over yet.
I totally recommend this intriguing, erotic, and twisted story to 18+ due to adult content.
Do you ever stop loving your first and one true love? Absolutely not, but you can find love again. Alex did just that, she fell in love with Adam who helped her pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. Alex thought she had a good life, two beautiful twins, a wonderful best friend and a husband who has now started working more and giving her less of him. This only leaves her lonely and missing Jackson even more. She has never been able to get him out of her heart and mind.
Thanks to Lou, Alex's meddling best friend, Alex is in for the shock of her life. Fate steps in and everything changes. Only You kept me glued to the pages and I couldn't stop reading. I just had to see how things will turn out. There were many twists and turns and shocking events that left me gasping, screaming, crying and grinning from ear to ear.
I married my high school sweetheart and I couldn't imagine this happening to me. It felt so real. This book was 5 wonderful emotional second chance stars!
Alex and Jackson were set to wed one beautiful Spring day. Then right before, Jackson is kidnapped. Alex is devastated. She lost her soul mate, best friend, and the love of her life. She searched for so long but couldn't figure out where he could have gone. After a very long time, Jackson's family decides to declare him legally dead.
Alex meets Adam and slowly he starts to heal her heart. They have beautiful twins. But after 10 years together, Alex starts to feel like something is missing and Adam has changed. Constantly working late at night and on the weekends. Alex's best friend Lou convinces her to go on a mini-vacation to Florida.
While Alex is there, she gets the shock of her life and discovers that Jackson is actually alive and well. She is torn between her past and present, while unsure of where her future lies. Her heart and soul just showed up after 15+ years but she has a husband that she loves and kids to think about.
Alex and Jackson's journey is extremely difficult and trying at times. There were a couple of twists and turns that I didn't see coming. There was only one of those twists that never truly got clarified, so I am left with a couple of questions. The only thing that I was a little unhappy with is the fact that it takes Alex and Jackson so long to find their way to one another. I understand all the situations that had to happen prior to their complete reunion but I wish there was more at the end so we could see more of them together.
