My desktop at home is over 6 years old so I thought it would be time for an upgrade. Due to my lack of technology knowledge, this will just be a rough review of how I view the system. (Bought through gigabyte website since amazon had a higher price with taxes when purchased).
Pros:
-Extremely small footprint - This device fits within your palm and is extremely smaller than regular desktop towers
-Specs on this tiny device is truly amazing
-Has few HDMI slots to extend images across multiple screens
-Quite portable due to size
Cons:
-Fan runs quite loud (Depending if you mind it or not, may not be a con)
-**Biggest complaint** Due to the small size, heat will overwhelm this device even with it's 2 fans. Once that occurs, it will throttle quite heavily and fps rates drop dramatically when gaming.
Thoughts:
I would say that it is an amazing product and a great device to push desktops to the level of portability when compared to laptops. Unfortunately there are there many obstacles that need to be crossed. Even though the graphics card is amazing and can process many games at optimal settings, the moment that the heat kicks in, it would not matter what type of graphics card it is, the speed will be reduced. I will still be using this device, but at the price that it is, I would recommend getting a larger size desktop since it will probably last longer if you are a gamer since heat tends to shorten the life span of devices.
