Cons: Handle seems to be unfinished (not a big deal to me, but means it could stain easily), locking mechanism looks a little inelegant (if you look down the blade, you can see that the locking mechanism is just an almost complete ring of ~0.25cm metal that's been bent. The shape isn't quite flush with the rest of the knife on the edges so the price shows).
Overall great for the price and would highly recommend!
I have found it the perfect backpacking knife, light, small and perfectly adequate for all tasks associated with backpacking. It is very affordable compared to most other knives. The only problem with the carbon steel units is that over time they rust. This does not seem to happen with the stainless unit.
The upgrade is worth the small extra cost
