My initial reason for getting this CAC reader was to use it on my phone and access work related websites. Unfortunately it did not work on my phone. I used Google Chrome, Samsung internet, and Subrosa and none of these browsers recognized the certificates from my CAC. On a positive note, the CAC reader worked great on my Samsung Galaxy Book (laptop) running Windows 11. It was as simple as plugging it in to my laptop, inserting my CAC and logging in to the website. Even though it didn't work on my phone I still gave it 5 stars because the reader worked just fine without any problems on my laptop. Which leads me to believe it's a problem with my phone. This reader is compact and easy to travel with. I recommend this product for anyone needing a CAC reader.

The USB 2.0 adapter doesn't work. It was working in the beginning, but then stopped working altogether. One of the main reason I bought this was to use the USB 2.0 adapter, now I am stuck. I asked the seller for a replacement and I was scammed when they sent me some junk USB dongle instead of a smart card reader replacement.

This Mini CAC Reader is working exactly as advertised. There are a number of GitHub repos that can use this card reader and I have had no problems at all using this card reader to read different cards. I have mainly been using this card reader with a laptop and the size of the card reader makes it easy to toss in your bag if you need to be mobile. Overall, I am very happy with this card reader, it's portability, ability to read cards and low price.
