I bought this 2-pack for my 1st and 4th grade aged kids. It's a little large on the 1st grader but I expected that. I was looking for something that could just stay in their backpacks out of the way, to be used for when it begins raining while they are at school and they have to walk back home from the bus stop in the rain. I really didn't want to get them those cheap ponchos that are basically a plastic bag. These seem perfect, the material is very light weight but is 5x thicker than a traditional pocket poncho. The snaps on it are reinforced. I don't expect these to last forever, but hopefully with proper drying and care they will last the rainy season.
I only wish they came with a smaller pouch to put them in. They are in a large flat plastic bag, which is just for purchase packaging it's not going to hold up for storage and use. Transferred to a slide-lock sandwich bag.
