About the Author
Christina Fisanick Greer, Ph.D. has been teaching college English for more than two decades. Her writing has appeared in dozens of periodicals, and she is the author of more than 30 books, including The Optimistic Food Addict: Recovering from Binge Eating Disorder. Christina suffered for almost 30 years from food addiction and binge eating disorder before entering recovery and founding online support groups to help others on the same path.

It's super helpful because it's compassionate, optimistic, insightful, and inspirational. It's just beautifully and simply designed. If you are looking for something to start you on your path of healing, this is the perfect book, because you will be enabled to work on healing your disorder without becoming overwhelmed. Once you have gone through this book, you may have a better idea of why you have an addiction to food and what the next steps are towards recovery. Thanks Christina for this lovely little book!
