I can't believe I never tried this sooner. A few years ago an old friend of mine mentioned taking this but I never followed up on it. I wish I had. I finally started taking it recently after coming across it while doing some web sleuthing about fibroids. When I read about iodine I noticed that it felt like I was reading out of my own doctor's file on me. I ordered this and had low expectations and figured I'd give it a few months before deciding if it wasn't helpful.

Ha! In just a few days I noticed that I had been sleeping soundly through the night. I even manage to fall back to sleep after my cat woke me up! This is not at all how things work with me. I could usually fall asleep but not stay asleep and I never fell back to sleep if I woke up for any reason. As soon as I started the Iodoral all that went away and I began sleeping like I had in childhood. It's been a month and I think it's fair to say it's not a fluke or strange lucky streak. I still can't believe that I'm sleeping and especially that if something does wake me, I fall back to sleep!

Another pleasant surprise, a ton of my cherry angiomas and skin tags disappeared! There are still a few cherries but at this point I barely care plus I am half wondering if they'll also disappear eventually since it hasn't even been that long.

As far as my fibroid problem, that's also coming along nicely and I'm seeing and feeling improvement. For that, I'm using other things than just the Iodoral but I give full credit for the sleep and skin issues to Iodoral. Those things so notably happened when the Iodoral was added to my routine. The other health issues are slowly improving and I credit all of the things I'm doing and taking for that progress. That includes this product so if you are like me and looking for every defense against fibroids and similar issues, please know I'm so glad it's part of my battle plan and do believe it's a vital part of it and the improvements I'm having. My largest tumor on the right side that used to stick out and show through my tummy like some kind of alien baby is not sticking out anymore and definitely feels smaller already.
To save you from having to sift through my reviews, this is my full fibroid fighting routine.

Lots of Power Packed in a Little Pill

I first tried this a week ago. I started out taking one full tablet with the NOW brand of selenium, and I experienced pain in my thyroid area and a bad metallic taste in my mouth along with burning in my throat. I was ready to give up on it and nearly almost gave up, but decided to try it in a half dose (breaking it in half) with selenium. I am pleased to say I no longer have the side effects. My thinking is clearer. I wake up fully rested, energized, and when it's time to go to bed, I don't have trouble falling asleep. I hung in there to figure out the right dosage for my body and it is working very well. God pointed me in the right direction with this. Before then, I was lethargic, was falling asleep everywhere I went, even in church. Now I am fully of energy with a new zest for living!

I am shocked how much better I feel on this. I was so surprised that I wondered if I could give this to my daughter, thinking if I am deficient in iodine, she likely is as well, since we eat the same foods.

In my research I found research that an Iodine deficiency is often mistaken for ADHD. After research, I decided to give my daughter (who is ADHD) 1/2 a tablet daily. To my SHOCK, my daughter has had straight A's on all of her papers for the last three days (typically her grades are much lower, she simply can't concentrate). I'm shocked honestly... I have tried many holistic supplements to treat her ADHD and nothing has worked well...until now. I'm interested to see if her grades and improvement continues or this was some sort of fluke.

Regardless, I feel much better taking this and she seems to as well.

My Hair Stopped Falling Out & Spider Veins Disappeared

I originally started taking Ioderal (12.5 mg) to get rid of fibrocystic breast disease, this could take several months or more to work and I am still hopeful that it will work.
On the fourth day of taking Ioderal, one pill the first day and 2 pills the other days my hair stopped falling out - what a pleasant surprise. It was really bad, I had to clean off the floor mat of my car daily with all of the fallen out hair, this had been going on for about a year.
After a couple of weeks of taking Ioderal most of my spider veins disappeared, I only have a few left, another pleasant surprise. I will not need the painful, expensive injections to get rid of them for spring/summer.
I am up to 4 pills a day and on day 34 and my hair looks fuller and the spider veins are still gone. Other things that I did that I think helped were to stop taking perscription estradiol patches and switching to estriol cream (Smokey Mountain Nutrition). Per Dr. Brownstein an authority on iodine to make the iodine work you also have to take selenium, magnesium, B vitamins & get rid of estrogen dominance which I did. It's like baking a cake, leave out one ingredient and the cake will not taste good. If I can get rid of the fibrocystic breast disease using Ioderal I will write another review.

We don't get enough iodine from food these days. Coupled with the fact that our environment is full of toxic halides, that means we absorb even less iodine! Because iodine's molecular weight is much heavier than toxic halides like bromide, chloride, flouride, etc., those toxins often beat iodine in going to the places in the body that really need that iodine like your thyroid, ovaries, and breasts.

I started getting less breast pain around my time of the month and also less acne when I started taking iodine so if you have any of those issues, it might be worth a try. I take it with food so that my stomach doesn't get upset.

My naturopath prescribed this for me but failed to remind me to take first thing in the morning, with water on an empty stomach. After doing this it took about 6 weeks to really notice a difference. The dose is minimal but instead of feeling like I am wading through treacle, I feel as if I could start cycling again. My general practitioner didnt thnk it necessary as my thyroid levels were within the range indicated by the tests, but obviously they were too low for me. So I sought additional help from a qualified well know naturopath with great results. And one simple little tablet.
If you feel the same - keep talking to your health practitioner. Dont self prescribe.

These are great and certainly dont upset any of our tummys. I take lugols 12% too and Im also fine wuth that, even on an empty stomach, but I like a two pronged approach. I take 10 drops 12% lugols and 4 x iodoral a day. Detoxing alot (very smelly pits)...too much information? Sorry!

Son is also using these and finds them to not be a problem. He's yet to load with lugols as well. Lots of good reading out there to bolster your research before using any iodine.
