The stand, when completed, is solid, has a great look, and is practical...the shelves are handy and the little drawer can store cleaning supplies for your TV. I would most likely buy other products from this company. Shipping time is very reasonable. All in all, I would give the company and its product an A. The only negative may be that you may have to have a sense of top and bottom or you can get confused in the building process. And, there are a few drawings that could be improved upon. Nonetheless, I don't think any buyer will be disappointed.
Unlike some reviewers, we had no problems whatsoever putting it together. And everything fits in it nicely even the surround receiver which is pretty old and clunkier than the newer ones. Of course, it isn't going to look and feel like a $1,000-$2,000 piece of furniture but for the price, it is solid and heavy and should last as long as I want to keep it. I did put it on sliders so I can pull it out easily without putting stress on it or scratching the floor. TIP: It is easier to put it on sliders BEFORE you hook up all your stuff.
Make sure you assemble it close to the location you are going to use it. The top will pop off if you try to lift it fro the top.
