This is the problem with the people who write the manual. They start at step 17 because they know the first 16. Please, please tell me what calibration is for, what the different things are that I can do with the device, and then tell me what buttons to push. And when the screen doesn't show what you say it will show, I don't know where to go from there. I need an overview first before getting into details. I have enough self-esteem to know the manual was written stupidly instead of thinking I am stupid. What a waste!
So today I did my workout and I was able to monitor my heart rate. There were no problems with monitoring my heart rate. Many other heart rate monitors seem to have issues with faulty readings but I did not experience anything like that. I like the watch the best. It is extremely easy to read, light on my wrist and easy to use. The chest strap was comfortable during my exercise but it did feel like it was sliding down when I started doing exercises that require jumping movement (e.g. jumping jacks). I tightened it further and it didn't seem to be much of a problem afterwards. I guess you have to find a good measurement between what will keep the chest strap in place and it being comfortable enough to wear without being too tight.

It has all these stats that measure calories burned, fat loss, steps taken, distance ran, graphs that plot your heart BPM during your exercise, etc. Being able to quantify your workout like this puts the science into it and makes it more fun. I can try to push myself harder now that I know what my exercising statistics are like. The software syncs wireless with a usb adapter. It is very easy to do. I look forward to being able to monitor my workouts in this way and it further motivates me.
Pros: Great (and free) software included, easy to use and does exactly as stated, you can customize your exercise routines into the watch (i.e.Read more ›
My last request was that they replace this watch which retails for $200 with one the retails for $100...I think that is more than fair, but they have failed to do anything at this point except provide excuses. I wouldn't purchase their products again...not any of them.
