Even though I don't play all of it, I enjoy using it while listening to cd's of others, especially who have played in the
MarianKirke in Lubeck. I was there several years ago and realized how important the visit of JS Bach was for the continuation of the amazing talent of his best teacher, namely D. Bux.

Rate organ music by Buxtehude? Obviously musically a 5. But the book itself is rather shabby. The paper is thick and definitely NOT acid free, so count on it turning yellow soon. I got the same music for my son in the Dover edition, and that paper is lovely, cream colored and acid free. Get that edition. Also, more music in a single book. One benefit of the Kalmus edition is the print is bigger.

I recommend this volume to organists who are Buxtehude buffs like me. The publication is of course for advanced organists who are looking for music of the Baroque period for church and recital use.
