Wasn't to crazy about the clear bag haven't not been sealed hence the 4 star review. I was happy that actual silver bag that had the powder in it was fully sealed and intacted. The taste is amazing in my coffee. It smelled wonderful. Powder looks amazing as the texture and color have a wonderful appearance. I bought this to help with blood sugar levels. Not all cinnamon is created equal. I was told and did research the fact that Ceylon is safer to consume. Since I don't know what is considered high levels I opted to be safe and that is why I invested in this type of cinnamon. So my biggest praise is the taste. I for the savings went for the 5lb bag. I put some of it in clean glass jars and put up the rest.

I was so used to using other normal cinnamon products that when I switched to Ceylon it took a moment to adjust.

Unlike the cinnamon you're probably used to, Ceylon is much milder with less bite but definitely has that unique cinnamon taste.

We usually use it in our teas with a splash of stevia along with ginger and turmeric and it produces a very flavorful hot tea!

I purchased this in 2022 and just opened it as my prior bag lasted a long time. It doesn’t expire until 2025. It smells NOTHING like cinnamon and exactly like some very nasty chemical! Nothing you would EVER consume. I called Amazon to have them make the company aware. I got someone who spoke broken English and kept telling me he couldn’t find the order. He finally did and kept telling me it was too late for a refund. I WASN’T asking for a refund. I wanted to reach the manufacturer. After wasting 15 mins of my life I hung up and searched the manufacturer on google. There phone number was 00-000-0000. My prior bag was fine but I will NEVER purchase this again. So scary.

The Cinnamon itself is great. I've had Ceylon cinnamon I have purchased locally in Sri Lanka and this has the same smell and flavor.

However, out of the 5# I paid for, at least 3 of those 5 pounds were no longer in the package, the bag is inside a second sealed bag, both were broken open inside the extremely flimsy "greener" box Amazon chose to ship this in so I ended up with a trail of cinnamon from the point where the delivery driver took it out of their vehicle, to my deck and finally through the house to the counter in my kitchen where upon opening the box, the remaining 2-3# that had escaped both bags deposited itself on every surface in my kitchen.

So, I ended up with less than half of what I paid for but the up side, my robot vacuum did a great job of cleaning up the floors so each day when I return home from work, the house has a very powerful aroma of cinnamon from the vacuum. It's like Christmas in September each day when I get home.

The product is great, the packaging and handling by Amazon on the other hand, not acceptable for a 5# bag of powder.

I bought the Organic Ceylon Cinnamon powder, when it was organic. AND IT WAS AMAZING! The smell, the taste. I loved it then I tried to buy it again, and it no longer was organic. So thinking I would be clever I searched for the old packaging of Nature Vibe Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder and found two and bought them. I had some of my old package and wanted to use it up. So glad I didn't pour it into the new packages I bought. Today I decided to pour what little I had left into the new package and wanted to taste test and smell to see if it was the same amazing fragrance I can smell in the old package and....no smell at all, no taste. I am not sure if greed has made everyone lose their integrity, but I am devastated. This is happening with many products I have loved and now they have degraded a fabulous product to an inferior product. I guess that is why Amazon doesn't do reviews the same way either. Money over quality. This really makes me mad that I have spent money for the same quality product to receive an inferior one.
