Wildly Organic Coconut Syrup

Our organic coconut syrup, also called coconut nectar, is made by gathering fresh sap from coconut tree blossoms. This buttery, caramel-like syrup is most similar in taste and consistency to molasses, but it’s akin to maple syrup in the way it’s made. These syrups are made by simmering the sap of a tree until it becomes thick and very concentrated.

Coconut nectar is great as a topping on desserts, ice cream, pancakes, oatmeal and all kinds of sweet or savory foods. Use it in homemade granola, apple crisp or gluten-free cinnamon rolls. This is a wonderful syrup to use in place of honey, maple syrup or molasses. With a Glycemic Index rating of only 35 (maple syrup has a GI rating of 54!), coconut syrup received "two thumbs up" from taste testing of the employees at Wildly Organic!
