They didn't shrink much. They are nice and thick, perfect. Bot iron on embroidery patterns from Amazon. Good old fashion gift my child and grandchildren will have in their kitchen to remember me. Something hand made.

I have never liked consumer dish towels as they are too thick, often not very absorbent and take forever to dry. These towels solve all of those problems. It does feel a bit like I am drying dishes with a pillowcase but I am getting used to that. I like that I can get into smaller nooks and crannies with these thin towels which can also be rolled up and stuffed into tubular spaces. These towels are purely functional with no compromise for aesthetic appeal, very much my preference.
