Stainless steel recycling bin
The recycling bin is constructed from durable stainless steel that is built to last. Cleaning your recycling bin has never been easier, just simply wipe down the stainless steel outside or plastic inside and you're done. The stainless steel look goes with any kitchen design, and can be places under the sink or displayed for easy access.
- Foot pedals for easy operation
- Bucket handles makes trash and recycling removal easy
- Independent lids for each foot pedal
Separating the trash from recycling, or bottles and cans is simple with this recycling bin. The side-by-side compartments allow you to combine your trash cans and recycling bins into one unit. This will free up room either on your floor or under you kitchen sink for other items. Each compartment is opened by stepping on the foot pedal on the side that you would like to use.
Included in the recycling bins are removable plastic containers with handles that make it easy to take the trash or recycling out without getting yourself dirty. This makes cleaning even faster as there should be no residue left on the inside of the cans.
Do your part by recycling without adding any hassle to your day. The Organize It All Neu Home Step-On 16 Gallon Recycle Bin is designed for ease of use. It features side-by-side recycle bins with independent lids, handles and foot pedals.

The good: the large size, the narrow and streamlined look, fits almost anywhere, the containers that hold the trash can be used without bags, and it's very sturdy. After 5 years I still had zero dents- even with 2 young boys running around my house. I get so many compliments on it.
The bad: if you want to use trash bags (I do for trash, not recycle) - you have to get the method down for it to fit perfectly because the can is a little small for a standard bag and will pull up at one end if not secured when you put the interior can in. My trick is to put it on (over the handle), pull it down 1/3 of the way down the can, then pull one of the ties to secure, then twist that end until it's really tight (do not knot). Then when it drops into place, it fits perfectly and is secure on all sides. When you put garbage in, it will naturally creep down a bit but it stays in place. When you want to take the garbage out, pull gently on the side of the bag and it will release so you can tie it up, grab the handle and dump. I usually carry the whole can because the handle is so much nicer than risking the bag breaking in my house or dripping on my floor.
Also, if you have wood floors, you may want to put some floor protectors for furniture underneath so that it doesn't scuff your floor over time from extended use.
The inside of this is mostly hollow. The individual garbage bins fit snugly into their own properly sized holes. The fit is so snug that when you fold the top of the bag over the lip of the bin, the bag will scrunch, and not easily fit. It is FAR too snug to tie the loose ends of the bag in a knot. I have tried several sizes and gauges of bag to no avail. Rubber bands are also not strong enough to hold 30 liters of trash upright.
Once you wrestle with the bin, and secure the bag to the lip, you can now fill it with trash or recycling. This is the one thing the can does well. The pedal works. It's not as responsive as I would like, but when you push down the pedal, the lid will eventually open.
Once filled with trash, the next design flaw comes in to play. The metal handle used to pull the bin out of the housing is on the INSIDE of the bin, and because of that, it is COMPLETELY USELESS. Because of the snug fit, if you folded the bag over the lid, the handle is COMPLETELY blocked by the bag. You will need to tug on the lip, and lift the bin out of its housing without using the handle. All while the bin is filled with 30 liters of garbage.
As an added bonus, anything in your trash or recycling that is rigid (any box, or can) will catch on that handle, and make it very, very annoying to remove the bag from the bin.
I really hate this trash can.
Quite a bit of wasted time and effort, since I now have to package it back and drive to UPS !
I really feel this was misleading... I read thoroughly but the 45 liter, three bin product should have 3 15 liter bins. This is tiny. It certainly does not use a 13 gallon trashbag as described. There's no way this is 12 gallons. each bin is slightly larger than a bathroom trashcan.
As other people have described, it's hard to get bags in at all.
We are keeping it for now, but I don't anticipate using it long. It looks nice, but it's just not a very good solution for regular use. We're emptying the trash ever other day!
8 gallon bags fit, but I had to empty the bag before it was full, otherwise disaster ensued. Also none have drawstrings, only twist ties. So I have to buy 10 gallon bags from Amazon. However, since the bags aren't made by Hefty or other quality bag company, they often tear and the draw string breaks.
I never thought trash cans could be this bad.
