Beautiful game, currently a better deal than directly from steam

Beautiful game, cool packaging & extras for the limited edition. To clarify, the limited edition includes both the original version of the game and the definitive edition, along with the posters & postcards- you only need to install the definitive edition as it includes the entire original game plus the new features. This is steam activation- you can either use the actual install DVD or just use the code in steam directly. The posters are cool but very folded, and the postcards are great.

The games is perhaps the most beautiful game I've ever seen- I made sure when buying a new laptop recently that it could handle its graphics. The characters, the background, everything is gorgeously detailed & alive. Gameplay is smooth and simple- can be difficult at times but is quite thrilling when it is. Music is also amazing, better than most movie soundtracks.

Others say to just buy it from steam, but I purchased this for $15- and the game alone was $20 on steam, so this was cheaper and gave me a nice case, the posters & postcards, and the soundtrack! Great deal for an amazing game and some nice additional material

Game is pretty good. Many people have reviewed this game better than I could so look it up if you want to know about it. Personally, I had some controller latency problems, but this may not be the same for others.

This edition of the game is nice to look at, but my copy is now a useless paperweight because the install disc becomes worthless after one use of the Steam key. So unless you are a diehard fan or absolutely love the art style, skip this edition. It retains very little intrinsic value once you open the case.

On the positive side, the goodies you get in this edition are pretty nice to look at, and the soundtrack works like a regular audio CD, which is good.

love this game the graphics a gorgeous and this game is extremely addictive.
came really really fast. I do think however I would go with the x box version instead of the computer version because the computer version seems to be on slow motion or something. The intro especially slow. But totally worth it.

I love the game and the music... unfortunately, it must have been a very long trip for the package. The case was broken and one of the disk holders inside it, was broken too. The disks got a bit scratched because of this but they are both playable. Since this is a limited edition set, I would've loved for the complete set to be in perfect shape. I was a bit disappointed.

Ill start off by saying this game is amazing. The artwork and soundtrack being the best parts. But the collectors edition falls a little flat. As some others have stated, the poster are folded inside the case, damaging them before you even open it. The art on the steel book feels kinda cheap, mine already chipped a little bit. And you need internet connection to play it, which is wierd since its a single player game. Even though its a cheap collectors edition (only $30), id say get this only if youre a serious fan of the game.

This rating reflects the physical contents and not the game which I'd give 5/5.

1. Game has DRM. Not a huge deal for me, I'm a steam user and already own every version on steam and the original on x1 already.

2. The glue blob that holds the cover paper to the steelbook took me a solid 30 minutes or more to get off and didn't leave behind a perfect steelbook cover. Luckily you'd have to hold it in the right way to really see it good, but looks as if very tiny pieces of paint came with it.

3. The posters on the inside are so folded as to be embarrassing to hang. Not only that the folds aren't even symmetrical and the fold is so severe that the print is all white down every line! Also they are an odd size... almost 12x16 but not quite.. probably hard to frame if you wanted to with a stock frame. I probably can cut a 1/2 off the top and get a proper 12x16 fit on the poster I like without it really hurting the look, but the white lines/creases look horrible as to basically be a waste of paper and ink at this point.

On the plus side you do get 2 posters, but they both suffer the same fate of being folded to fit inside the steelbook case. Fairly disappointed over all. The 2 post cards are nice and I may frame them. The steelbook is really nice, minus the small blemish on the front from the glue blob. Doubt I could return it, probably just sell or give away the code.

MY RECOMMENDATION:

1. A must buy if you never played the game.
2. A buy if you are an avoid Ori lover and inspite of the above flaws you must have it.
3. I'd skip this edition otherwise.
