First of all, this watch is beautiful. It fits all my tastes. It worked flawlessly, when it was working. That's the key point. I purchased this item in May, and by July after light use, it stopped working. I'd worn the watch a handful of times by then, and when I put it on that day two months later, it was frozen; the seconds hand wouldn't move. It was already out of the Amazon return window.
After chatting with Amazon product support, they helped me to file a warranty repair claim. After sending the watch to Orient support on my own dime, I was told a week after they received it that they would not honor the warranty because it was sold by an unauthorized Amazon seller. And to add insult to injury, the cost of the repair was quoted to be $110 - $135 dollars. News flash. The watch new can be had at that price.
While I thoroughly enjoy the look and how the watch wears at the price it was offered, this will be the last Orient timepiece I will ever consider buying. I don't understand why in my particular case, being less than two months old with proof of purchase and all original packaging and items included in the gift box, minus the manual which I didn't even notice was for a different model, they would choose to charge the price of a new watch to repair it. I'm surprised they would charge me to repair it at all, frankly. The consolation? The correct manual is supposed to have been replaced in my gift box after I pay another $16 for them to ship the broken watch back to me.
Amazon did right by me, even though they didn't have to, sending me a replacement. I will return the defective watch to Amazon after I receive it, which I would have gladly paid shipping for had Amazon not given me a return shipping label.

Orient Men's 'Bambino Version 4'
On the surface, it might be easy to mistake the Bambino Version 4 with the original Bambino. For this fourth iteration of the timeless collection, we chose to move back to its roots, all the while taking inspiration from previous models along the way. Sure, the signature domed crystal is there, but unlike the original Bambino, the hour markers on the Version 4 are rounded and diamond shaped. The hands are a lot thinner (which is perhaps a hat tip to the Version 2), and the seconds hand has been partially dipped with a red accent. The Bambino Version 4 has become slight larger, moving away from the traditional 40.5mm width of previous models and instead becoming a modern 42mm across.

Orient bambino great value and quality for the money

First Orient and definetely a keeper. First this watch quality wise is on another level than what its price shows. No this is not as well made as a Rolex or Omega instead it rivals brands like Hamilton. The case is polished steel that is really bright and even. The watch has a domed mineral crystal that is very thick. The watch has a signed buckle but no signed crown. The hands are short and the red seconds hands is somewhat of a turnoff seems to sporty for a dress watch but I am a youngster so I like the modern style. The dial is the real showpiece of the watch and its best attribute. Its a sunburst dial that plays with the light going from bright blue to a dark blue almost black color. The movement is hackable and handwinds. Now for the bad parts of the watch. Due to the cases polish dust and finger prints are ever present. The movement is good except that their is rotor noise which is normal for more inexpensive automatics. The crown is not signed but some of the previous orient bambinos do have the signed crown. The lugs are not drilled making strap changing more difficult. The leather strap has a alligator pattern but is actually genuine leather was really stiff at first but it broke in eventually. I hate all day/date complications but there everywhere but I just have to get used to them. The biggest problem for me is the size. At 42mm it is rather large for a dress watch. Had the size been kept at 38mm to 40mm it would have been better. The thing about this watch is that it can be dressed down with a different strap and be worn with very casual attire. Overall as a first automatic its a great piece, as a new collector you will be proud to own one, veteran collectors will be impressed by its quality to price ratio. Its a great watch that mixes vintage appeal with some modern styling.

I really love this watch. I wanted a green dial watch but couldn't find one I liked until I saw this one. It is an elegant and dressy watch that I enjoy wearing to work. The band is very nice, as well. I am a fan of Orient watches and have many others besides this one. Orient is a trusted maker of automatic movements and this one lives up to the reputation of being accurate and keeping a wind charge. Detail on the face is incredible and I really like the red tip on the second hand. Easy to hand wind as well, just turn the crown. Pull the crown out to set date or time.

I have had the watch for a week and I still love it. Very accurate. However I must admit that the leather band that comes with the watch is hard on the edges even after you break it in. I used a push pin and took the strap off and replaced it with a black nato strap. It feels so much better and completely changed the look to a slick looking everyday watch. I still recommend this watch . The original band only feels good with the deployment clasp added.

I was going to cancel this order. So glad I didn’t. I opened the box with every intention of returning the watch but I laid my eyes on this watch and fell in love. The pictures do not do this watch justice. It is beautiful! I like this watch so much that I plan on wearing it on most days. This could be my regular watch. A lot of people reviewing this watch are complaining about the size and the strap. I think the size is perfect . Wouldn’t change a thing. The leather strap is stiff but I will break it in . It's a great quality watch with excellent build quality. Automatic, with manual wind and hacking feature, and date window. The grey sunburst dial juxtaposed next to the brass markings are particularly smart. I myself use this more as a smart-casual/dressy watch. The suede strap was nice - but I swapped it out simply to match my style a bit more.
