I have never been afraid of any Chinese medicine. It is excellent in my experience. I even used to go to a practitioner. I am extremely excited about this product because I personally have some serious joint pain. The packaging is stunning and instills confidence as I begin using it.
To the point: This oil contains botanicals that are not in any other 'menthol-based' muscle product. From my perspective, it has ingredients of much greater sophistication for dealing with inflammation. I have a collection of eucalyptus lavender, regular menthol, Amish muscle salve (pretty darn good, actually) and the list goes on more. I read the label and I was so impressed. Look. . . the Chinese know--for me.
The fragrance has frankinsense and myrh and smells yes of menthol but alittle different. Some people do not like it but I find it calming and it seems to actually help me personally. I have an index finger knuckle joint that seems to be responding, at least for me. This knuckle joint is of a pain like a break!
Absorbs very quickly/non greasy, and it is wise to not put on too heavy. Does not linger on my skin for long.
This stuff works on a different level, in my opinion. I am using it on some gardening scratches on my arms and they are calming down with faded redness. (Only day four of my own use on scratches and cuts.) I was bold. It can be used on cuts. Watch the video.
Always talk to a dermatologist when using any topical treatment of any kind. If you have reactive skin pay attention and discontinue use if irritation develops.
For me, this is a friendly oil with wonderful qualities. It is from Macau. Don't be afraid of a good thing.

UN HEI TONG has been made by the China Medicine Laboratory and UN HEI TONG since 1796. "UN HEI TONG" is a "PingLe Bonesetting" (now called Pingle Guo's Bonesetting) name, which has two hundred years history.
During the United forces of the eight countries invaded China, empress dowager Cixi escape to Luoyang with royal. Cixi was in patients of diagnosis and treatment of "Pingle bonesetting", empress dowager had given "Second person of the Imperial Hospital" title plaque, to thank the Guo's.
