As Seen on ABCs hit show Shark Tank. The Rock-It portable vibration speaker system takes music from your device and turns it into vibration sequences. It sends those vibrations through the Rock-It pod which sticks to ANY object. Simply press play on your device and the Rock-It will turn that object into a speaker! Now with a built-in rechargeable battery!

Also, this worked well with the box it shipped in; it sounded really good. Just attach the speaker to the tape, not the cardboard.
Also applying some soapy water or Windex to the pad and then letting it dry revitalizes it so it sticks like (or maybe even better than) new.
Well today (after quite a bit of listening to music from my phone through it at work and bringing it home to charge every night so lots of attachments and removals) my Rock-It no longer plays the crisp, clear music it used to (if it plays anything at all) it does a lot of buzzing and just sounding awful. Loved it while it worked, but now not so much...
My 12 year old was loving this product, hooked to her MP3 player it sounded quite good stuck to anything from a piece of Styrofoam to a hollow core door. Unfortunately after maybe times of pulling out the speaker head the wires pulled out(something I had no way of repairing) and it quit working.
Unfortunately the way this product is designed the only way to extend the wire from the main unit to the speaker is to hold the speaker and pull the wire which is spring wound and quite short. The other wire(to hook to your headphone jack) wraps around the unit so it is not exposed to pulling.
Now I guess it would be possible(after pulling the wire out a but by the speaker a little bit) to hold onto the wire and pull it out the remaining way but I don't think thats how it was designed. All in all it would have been best to not have to pull on the speaker at all to unwind the wire at all(similar to how the plug end works) but it's the way this product was designed.
Another option would be to pull out the speaker wire once and never let it retract, but then you'd have to figure out what to do with the wire as theirs nothing to really wind it around like the plug side has.
I returned the product and was given a quick credit(even return shipping, thanks Amazon!) and haven't quite decided if I'll order another one. I would have exchanged it for another right away but apparently thats not a option unless the product was damaged during shipping.
It was really cool while it lasted :)
Update: I did order a replacement which has been working fine, we are VERY careful when ever pulling on the cord and never pull it out from the head but rather from the cable itself and on that point it's been working ok(although it's not really used much, the novelty has kind of worn off).
