I had to wait a few weeks for delivery, as the seller is located outside of the US. With that having been said, it still arrived before they said it would. As for the product, it appears to be a perfect match, and I would recommend this to anyone needing a replacement camera lens cover for an HTC EVO. There are no instructions included in the package, so allow me to provide some to you:

1. Pull off back cover of phone. You can leave the battery in, if you desire, but I recommend just shutting down your phone and then removing the battery. That way you won't be concerned with it randomly falling out.
2. Use your fingernail or something similar to pry off the housing of the camera lens. It's held on by double-sided tape. This kit comes with a new housing, so it doesn't matter if you bend the old one when removing it.
3. Use your fingernail again to remove the lens. Again, this is held on by double-sided tape.
4. Remove one side of the double-sided foam ring tape and place it around the camera lens on the phone.
5. Use a pair of tweezers to position the replacement lens over the camera lens on the phone.
6. Remove one side of the ring tape for the housing and place it around the newly installed lens cover on the phone. Tweezers would be handy here, as well.
7. Remove the other side of the double-sided tape and lower the new housing into position with the tweezers.
8. Give everything a good press to make sure they are set in the tape then reinstall the battery and cover.
9. Turn phone on and take your first clear picture in quite some time!

I found this on Amazon and I am so glad that I did. My camera lens was scratched up and I was stressing out about how much sprint was going to charge to fix it.....DON'T PAY SOMEONE TO DO THIS FOR YOU!!! It literally took me less then 10 minutes and probably that amount of time because I was being extra careful. Follow the directions that are on some of the other reviews here. My camera looks like it is back to brand new. I also purchased the camera lens protector rings that I found on Amazon as well in hopes that I do not have to replace the lens again. I would most definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking to replace a scratched camera lens on their Evo.

Lens replaced in 5 minutes. Instructions would have been nice, but as you disassemble the existing parts you'll see how the new stuff adheres together. Pry underneath the red aluminum lens ring with a razor blade, x-acto knife, etc. to start. My October 2011 kit came with the lens protected between thick plastic cling film. I'm a happy camper.

I bought this for my brother as he cracked his original lens and has been making due with it since. This installs in about 10 min or less. All you do is take a razor from a box cutter or similar thin, flat object and pry off the existing red ring. It comes off pretty easy, just pull any excess adhesive off the ridge it is adheded to. Then take out the lens (it says 8 M Pixel on it). Install the new lens in the same spot, the 8M Pixel text is on top and the back of the lens lines up with the square hole it sits in above the camera sensor. Take the double sided adhesive ring off the paper and stick it on the inside of the red ring, peel off the white paper on the other side and press it back over the lens onto the ridge. Now that I've done it I can probably do it a second time in probably 2 min or less. It is the exact same material as the original lens and ring, very cheap (I heard Sprint charges upwards of $60 to replace this) and the shipping didn't take too long, about 5 days. I strongly recommend this for anybody who has cracked or scratched their lens as this is an easy fix to get the phone back to factory condition.

Perfect fit. I am 100% pleased with this purchase. My camera shots were so cloudy, I stopped taking pictures. When I replaced the lens cover, my pictures were once again clear, sharp and colorful. Product arrived promptly. I used a metal nail file to pop off the old ring and easily installed the new one. Don't forget to remove the protective film on the lens cover. Not hard at all. Excellent value.

I bought a second hand HTC EVO 4G from Craigslist. I noticed that camera lens had multiple scratches causing unfocused photos. I got my Dremel tool and thought I would polish out the scratches... oops - I melted the lens!! After googling the subject I found a 'Do-it-yourself' video on youtube and it referenced this lens kit, so I bought it. It only took a few minutes to install, and viola - perfect CLEAR photos!

I bought this lens to fix my HTC ONE X+ since I couldn't find the correct lens on Amazon and other reviews said the HTC ONE X lens was too small. This lens was a bit too larger, however I was able to use a finger nail file and remove just a bit of material around the edges. I also removed the adhesive backing because it caused the lens to slightly protrude from the bezel. I used a small drop of super glue to hold it in place. Looks nearly as good as it did originally and fixed the blurry camera issue I was having.

Very easy to replace lens for the HTC EVO 4G. There isn't much to it so I'll make this short. The first reviewer wrote a good how-to on the replacing the lense and he was mostly right on target. The only thing I can add is make sure you are extremely careful with the double-sided tape for the red ring. It's SUPER gummy and very easy to get stuck onto itself. Take your time, use tweezers if you have them, be still with no breeze blowing and you should be able to do this.

Highly recommended
