+Shoots high in the air.
+Fun to play with.
-Rockets are foam and are a bit challenging to push on the launch pad's plastic rod.
-Frequently adjusting the flimsy foam launch pad legs to keep it from tipping over.
*Simply making the launch pad legs plastic would have made this a much more enjoyable product. If would made it easier put the rockets on and keep it from tipping over.
First, one of the the screw hole mounts for the base broke (See pictures attached). When I disassembled it became blatantly obvious that not enough glue was used to attach the pump to the base. There was also a kink in the pump membrane which leaks a significant amount or air that should be delivered to the launcher.
Right out of the box I noticed that the hard plastic threaded receiver for the rocket launcher shaft was off-center. See pictures attached. Because of this, a bunch of air leaks out of this as well, so I doubt that this ever worked fully as designed.
I would have sent it back but my son loves it. I've spent hours over the past 2 days patching it together with super glue and silicone!
The hose is not well made and cheap, it goes from the blaster part to the air puch, it hasn't broken yet but was very kinked and does not really come un-kinked, this impacts the air flow. Overall the quality is cheap, but does it work, yes it does.
The rockets are just simple foam darts with plastic tips. Don't want it to hit you in the eye, obviously, but they look fairly and feel fairly harmless.
I would buy this again or give it as a gift. I may try one of the other brands of the same type of rocket. So far we have spent a fee hours using this thing and its enjoyable.
After several hours of playing with this, the foam legs on the base started to bow from the kids pushing the rocket on. This did not effect the rocket from launching but my husband said it was an easy fix by attaching a little rod to the legs.

Really easy to set up - my 2 year old figured it out. I like how it has a foam base rather than plastic I thought this was a safer option for clumsy toddlers.
I love how the rockets are 3 different colours to prevent my tot and her friends from fighting!
Great way to burn some energy getting the kiddies playing outside. Will be buying more products from this range.
The only reason I havnt given it 5 stars is the fact the tubing has been kinked during packaging. This kink increases the resistance on the rocket making it harder for my tot to press the pump.
One very happy mummy, daddy and toddler!
So if you want a present that will inject a little silliness into Christmas, buy a jump rocket, at the very least, it will take your mind off the fact that you should not have had the second helping of Christmas pudding, and you wish Aunt Agnes would stop talking about her rheumatism.
Just remember to duck at launch time.
I took this out of the box at the weekend, but found there is a piece missing (it looks like we are missing a piece of plastic that should screw into the base).
We can't position the rockets on the base without it.
I had 2 very disappointed boys yesterday.
