I'm wearing one of these as I type and they are EXACTLY what they claim - It holds really tight, they're lightweight yet sturdy and they don't mar your clothes. I've moved it from left to right to center and practically stood on my head--and no matter where I place it, my Armani glasses do NOT fall off. It's cool that no matter how many times I've used it, the magnet always finds the exact place it needs to be. The back piece does a great job stabilizing the magnet. I'm not sure why anyone would be so derogatory and unnecessarily snide reviewing a produce they never even used, but anyone interested in this product would be well advised to only heed reviews from ACTUAL USERS!

Works very well. This device uses neodymium magnets which are incredibly strong. The so called "engineer" who wrote the one star review has never seen or used the product, and has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. I use this device every day. I wish I had discovered it sooner.

I love this little ingenious item. I have 4 of them. I'm a contractor who was constantly looping my eyeglasses on my shirt at my chest and I would bend to pick up something and the glasses would always fall out.
This little magnetic loop is just such a clever item that everyone asks me about. My glasses have NEVER fallen out to the ground since I have used this for the past few months.
I purchased a pack of them and have given a few of them as gifts.
Can't leave the house without it now!

Very strong magnet, and very easy to use. I bought this for someone who always bought shirts with pockets in them so he could have a place for his glasses. This gift was excellent! Note: The magnetic plate is ONE piece placed on the other side of the fabric.

I use this every day now, once I figured out that the back of it was cold against my skin, making it uncomfortable to use for me. At first I thought it was the magnet doing it. It would make it hurt some from the cold when the temperature around me was lower.

The solution I came up with: Sewing a small pouch out of several layers of flannel material to slip over the back part.

Now it's very comfortable, and actually easier to get my glasses' earpiece into it because the pouch pushes the outer part out just a bit. The magnets work just fine through the pouch, so it does what I want it to do.

Saw this on "Shark Tank" last year and bought it shortly thereafter - whatever that inventor has earned on this invention, he surely deserves it. Whether it's to hold my reading glasses temporarily indoors or holding my sunglasses outdoors when I am taking photographs the ReadeRESTs have not failed me once.

The biggest problem I have with them it when I "lose" it by forgetting to remove it from my shirt; as a result of my negligence they have even gone through the washing machine a few times - but of course they just cling to the steel tub inside the machine so they don't actually disappear along with my socks or whatnot.

The other thing I learned the hard way was not to put a portable hard disk drive into my left jacket breast pocket when wearing the ReadeREST on my left chest, as naturally the powerful magnet in the ReadeREST ends up destroying the drive (my portable HDD would not work at all no matter what I did; my guess is that the magnets ruined the FAT and other system tables that rendered the disk completely unreadable, no matter what software utility I tried).

A friend of mine first recommended this ReaderRest to me before I ever saw it on "Shark Tank". I got rid of the dumb rope around my neck, and have been using it for over a year now and love it. I bought an extra set in case I lose this one. I even use it while working out at the YMCA.

We have these in three colors because my husband likes them so much. He put the black one on the wrought iron lamp by his chair so his glasses are always handy. He wears the white one with his white shirts. The magnates are very strong.
