Two negatives: Many take a dismal view of his Austrian orientation to economic theory. Also, some of his books may be viewed as too long.
The "Origins" book describes an extremely powerful organization which controls monetary economics in the US. Many do not know or understand how the FED "prints money" or controls interest rates when it is not a part of the government. Read Rothbard's book and there may be understanding.
