Awesome! My very first telescope. Took me one hour to set up out of the box. My first night viewing with this telescope I capture Jupiter and a couple of its moons. Difficult for extreme planet viewing but it is possible. The moon is crystal clear and very nicely night the fig The moon is crystal clear and Close up. I highly recommend this telescope for amateur beginners. My five-year-old loves looking through the eyepiece once I get it focused on an object.
It’s unbelievably EASY to use! And I saw Sirius, Mars and deep sky star clusters in Orion the FIRST time I used it! Works fantastic on my back porch in Brooklyn with significant light pollution and trees around. Very sturdy— recommended for families — wonderful extras— the Barlow lens, star wheel and fantastic book. We are soooo excited! And all this for $300!
