Juste-Aurele Meissonnier, 1695-1750, was a designer for Louis XV's and this book has a lot of his designs. The engravings are from the mid-1700's and unfortunately do not have attributions... A great companion to Fantastic Ornament by Dover (Don't get Fantastic Ornament 2 that is only printed on one side with lackluster examples)
