This guitar is beautiful. I have been playing for many years and was an Ibanez freak. Everything Ibanez. I needed a fresh of breath of air with a new guitar style. Basically me and the boys took the stage to pay respect to one of our fallen brothers and dropped two sets of the band Social Distortion. This guitar has a great sleek neck to compliment my playing style of the Ibanez RG series. I was concerned about ordering a guitar off the net without ever playing it. I was like, hope it sounds good and feels good. If in doubt about the feel go to a guitar shop and grab a 1000 buck Les Paul Epiphone. If it feels good then you will love this hidden gem. I received it, perfect condition, very fast shipping. This guit plays itself. I was reading reviews about it and saw that some had referenced a starter guitar. NO WAY, this guitar is for anyone who loves to play and dreamed of that Les Paul Epiphone and didn't want to shell out tons of cash. Built solid, everything was tight. Pickups are perfect, intonation was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about this guitar. This guitar is one for the long haul. Not a cheap buy but a SMART buy. The only thing I did was drop some new D'Addario NYXL 09/42 gauge strings on it for my style. By the way D'Addario NYXL strings whatever gauge are definetly my favorite. I also used my Music Nomad F-One oil on the neck. It conditions and brings out the wood. Makes it pop not to mention helps to turbo charge your playing with ease. I use it on all my guits. I lowered the action on the strings a bit to my liking which is a simple turn of a screw to get the strings closer to the neck for anyone who might not know about the action....Youtube. I also saw some of the reviews about fret buzzing etc. If you have thaty happen, like it does on any guitar from 100 bucks to a 1800 dollar guit....That is a simple fix with changing the action and also the choice of strings. Tuning is tight, no slipping. Humbuckers are sweet. Sound is perfect. Yeah, I can't say enough good things. Well spent cash and if you're on the fence take the jump and go for it. The days of going to the guitar stores with the massive markups and dealing with the store associate egos are over. Oh yeah, also got a Crossrock Les Paul style hardshell case. Perfect fit!!!!! I had done research and the review were good, I had no first hand experience with the brand and was a bit skeptical for that reason. the price was at a low point so I dropped the hammer. Nothing is perfect but I'll not nit pick a item for not being ultimate show car quality. Minor waves from polishing is not a defect. Its reality from a production environment. The total package from appearance to performance is excellent. It arrived with out damage and was double boxed like Sweetwater does. It came with 10 46 D'Addario strings which is a pleasant surprise. I did make two changes to make it mine and will post photos. I replaced the black Knobs with Gold Gibson style Knobs I had for a project guitar. I also made a new pick guard out of optically clear poly carbonate sheet. I hand polished the edges and it was very time consuming but I know no commercially made source so I spent a lot of time doing that. It lets the veneer shine and still protects. A simple upgrade but I think its proper one.

I bought this guitar on January 19, 2018. No regrets at all. Understand that all guitar shipped over seas arent suppose to have and pressure on the truss rod, so neck ajustment is likely needed. This guitar came pre setup and i needed to do was a slight neck ajustment and a string change because i like heavier strings. This guitar plays and sounds better than a gibson thats been made in the past 10 years. I absolutely love this guitar. I own the goldtop oe20 as well and i loved it which is what promted me to buy this one. You can not go wrong with this buy. Not one complaint from me. I own 23 guitars and have played 15 years and this is one of my favorites.

I've always wanted a Gibson Les Paul, but not being a professional I wasn't about to spend thousands for one. I was on the verge of going for a comparable Epiphone model, then the OE20TS caught my eye. Reviews of the favorable variety swayed me to go this way, as well as the beautiful Tobacco SB finish. The price didn't hurt either. The guitar arrived packed well. No nicks, scratches, or dents, and I received the one I ordered (seems to have been a problem for some.) 2 for 2 so far. The instrument looks wonderful. Nice finish, seems to be put together well, just as I had hoped. Then I played it. It was obvious that it needed quite a bit of adjustment. There was a ton of fret buzz and the intonation was way off. After making adjustments to the truss rod and saddles I was ready to go. I have to admit, this thing plays great. Fantastic tone and great sustain. The action feels sharp and makes it a pleasure to play. The trade off is you get a great guitar for a great price, it may just need some setup. Don't be scared off by this if you are a beginner. There are several videos on youtube that show how to make these adjustments, and they're really not very difficult. My guitar came with a cable, a hex wrench (for truss adjustment), and a warranty card. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Hi very good guitar for this kind of money. . I have gone through quite a few guitars over the last 20 years and id put this one in between an epiphone LP standard and a gibson LP standard .fairly high standard I know but it's a good quality guitar, China make seriously cheap guitars but some are very good, I have owned played bought and sold many guitars and not to sound like im up my own A but i know guitars fairly well. There are a few problems though, the packaging that this company uses is nuts, its a small thin cardboard box no padding no nothing,this guitar is shipped from china im guessing and thats just crazy stuff .Oscar Schmidt really are letting themselves down with the packaging. i had to order a second one because the first one was damaged and it is a pain because you have to pay return shipping.This is a common problem if you read other reviews.if the action is correct you will be lucky, one of the guitars had good action the other did not but i guess its not a major deal.i spent 50 euros on professional set up.So the bottom line it sounds great,decent pickups hardware etc,( I'm not a pickup or electronics expert but it's good no mad feedback etc,I guess if you wanted to upgrade you have the option but I'm happy with the sound)great mahogany wood finish plus nice goldtop but be aware it may come damaged or it may not or you just may be lucky with everthing. so is this guitar worth this kind of money def yes. its a very well made guitar at a fraction of the cost you should be very happy with it, you can't go wrong with this asking price if it comes undamaged 😊

Really rather good! Probably the cheapest Les Paul Gold Top clone around. Had a Tokai Love Rock years ago and it's definitely as good as that at £120 or so less. Really looks the part, plays well and sounds good too. Also very light for a Les Paul style guitar.

Some minor issues to take note of. Not protected well enough for delivery in my opinion. Arrived unharmed though. Pickup selector needed securing properly. Was rotating when the tightening nut was turned. Volume and tone knobs needed adjusting as they were difficult to turn being too close to the body. Overall finish excellent except for a small area on the back which was chipped exposing the bare wood. Can be repaired easily should i wish to. Could possibly have happened in transit.

Overall, you get what you pay for but a really lovely guitar for the money. Holds its own visually stood next to a USA Fender.

Les boutons de la sonorité et du volume ne sont pas posés correctement et en tournant ils frottent sur la caisse de la guitare. Ils ne sont pas bien ajustés. La note ne sonne pas tout à fait juste même correctement accordée, possiblement que les deux plaques sonores sont à changer, étant de basse qualité. Cela n'implique pas que toutes les guitares de ce model sont ainsi. J'informe que pour celle que j'ai reçue.

I took about 1/2 hour and did a setup on the guitar: filed of the edges of the frets, polished frets, filed nut, new strings and adjusted action and pickup height. It plays great and stays in tune really well, better than some of my more high end guitars. Amazing that they can sell this for so little!

This is definitely one of the best deal on a Les Paul style guitar I've seen in a while. The neck is straight and comfortable to play, the tuners keep tune, the pickups sound decent, they are wax potted and the finish looks and feels fantastic. I wasn't sure at first, but after reading the reviews and watching a few videos, most people gave it high marks for the price. I am definitely glad I got one. Except for the pots that are entry level, the rest really don't need any upgrading. The only thing that was deficient was the packaging. It came in a thin cardboard box with very little padding inside. The 3 way switch was broken off and so was the mounting frame on one of the pickups. I didn't bother contacting Amazon as was already planning to change all the white plastic hardware to black with new parts. Overall, I give this guitar a star rating for Playabillity of 5, Sound 4, Looks 5 and Overall value 4.5 stars.
You might want to adjust it to your liking, but as far as the one I got, I didn't have to do anything to it. The action was low, the neck straight and the intonation was set. Koodo to the Oscar Schmidt technicians for presetting them at the factory.
