Purchased for my son! He loves his jacket! And it’s truly water proof! The water doesn’t go threw the coat but drips off! I’m in fall season in upstate NY so weather is changing! It’s perfect for the chilly mornings at bus stop! It fits him perfect so I would definitely say it’s true to size! We’ve machined washed and dried without any issues! Still looks and works as brand new! Will be purchasing this cost for him here on out as he grows! He loves it! He doesn’t complain about the feeling or fit or the zipper! Zippers can be tricky for him and he often has a hard time zipping his own coat, this one he can work totally on his own so it’s an extra bonus!

Bought this for my 3 month old. He’s rather large. He wears 6-9month clothing at 3 months old. This jacket is perfect for him. I ordered a 12 month one. It’s a little big but I just rolled up the arms so he can get some wear out of it. It’s lined with a fleece lining in the whole thing except the arms. It’s a medium weighted jacket I would say. Nice for a cool night but not a winter jacket.
