Item cannot be returned. That is a key input to buying decisions and should be highlighted on the page - Amazon is better than that. As for the manufacturer - designing a kids' product such that it cannot be returned via Amazon because it contains "gases" tells you all you need to know about them.

Buyer beware, can’t return on Amazon. Was told by Amazon to contact the manufacturer. Total waste of money. Only one of the three games is worth while. The drawing game is incredibley difficult for younger kids and the pinball game has no educational value whatsoever. The monster game is fun but only works correctly half the time. The camera fails to read the drawings on the white board.

I bought this for my 5YO's birthday because she used Osmo at school and she loves to draw. We got the genius kit for our Kindle Fire Tablet and then this one with the iPad base, so we could switch them out and two kids play at once on different tablets.

Within 15 minutes of drawing, my daughter had ruined two of the 4 markers that came with the set just by pushing down as she sketched. We use various types of markers nearly daily, and this doesn't happen to our other art supplies. It was disappointing as I now have to find replacement markers and spend more money basically immediately.

Second, while the white board is nice and feels sturdy, I didn't realize you don't even need their board to play any of the games it advertises for this set. I found this out because my son saw my daughter playing the monster game and wanted to do it on his tablet at the same time. Turns out a generic white board or even piece of white paper works!

I wanted a second base but the value for my money would have been better if I bought one of the other starter or little genius kits instead since it would expand the number of games we can actually play with pieces we don't have and can't easily substitute with a much cheaper solution.

I bought this for my niece who loves drawing and sketching. Monster Game take the kids through a journey where the character Mo takes kid's help in setting up his home, doing activities etc. Each activity involves the kid sketching something to help Mo. For example, drawing a bed on which Mo can sleep. I felt it is a great way to teach kids about things around them especially ones who are interested in drawing. Mo is always gentle and never discourages the kids even if sketches are not consistent with what he asks, which I felt is a great thing. Kids of this age cannot be taught by telling them by what is wrong, they learn the best through motivation and through reiterating what is right again and again. This is what the game does, it repeats the right thing through hints to kids multiple times eventually taking the kid to the right outcome. Kudos to Osmo for thinking it through. Note to parents, please play with your kids for the first time; your commentary on activities can really help the kids use it better.

I would like to love this product buuuut...I ordered my grandson the one for Fire...he needs the iPad one and AMAZON will not let me return it for "SAFETY REASONS". FLAMMABILITY?? EXPLOSIVE?? BUUUUUT they can ship it TO you. PFFFFT!

I am HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

For the past month or so my kids have been having a lot of fun playing with OSMO games. We started out with their coding set and I was so impressed with it that I decided to get them some of the other games. This particular set is one that I would say isn't a necessity unless you don't have a base and reflector set for you tablet already. The games that come with this set: Monster, Masterpiece and Newton, are ones that you don't need this Creative set in order to play. If you have plain white paper or any white dry erase board, you can play these games. All that you really need to have is the base and reflector set that comes with this. The three games are fun and my kids enjoy playing with them, but they were playing these games before they had this set. The set comes with a dry erase board, some markers and a pencil pouch that can double as an eraser. For the price point, I would suggest buying another set (Genius, Little Genius, Pizza Co starter set, or the Coding Starter set), that way you get a different group of games that come with pieces required to play those games and then you can still play the creative games using your own paper or dry erase board.

We were excited to get this kit for our 4 yr old. During installation we were unable to download the Osmo monster and the osmo app, currently unavailable in the Appstore. In contacting Amazon support they entered a helpdesk tkt with no timeframe when it will resolved. Osmo isn't much fun for a 4 yr old without the monster app.

This is such a great product. Easy to install and set up, packaged great, and the children love it. Very engaging. We have played the monster game so far and played a drawing adventure. The prompts in the corner help if the children don't know what they are being asked to draw and they are drawing things they have never drawn before, and already noticeable that drawing skills and efforts are improving as they want it to look good when monster pulls their drawing in the app.
Sadly one pen arrived dried up, but otherwise a really great, educational product. Would highly recommend.

So disappointed. We bought this at Christmas as we had seen all the wonderful videos of kids on YouTube using the Monster App. Once it arrived, it quickly became apparent that the one app that currently doesn’t run on it is the Monster App. So incredibly poor and misleading. I have seen online that it will be available early 2021 but this doesn’t sit well with a five year old who is now very upset.
Basically, we now have a glorified white board. I would encourage you to spend your money on something else!

Had the option to return but easier just to buy the adaptor separate as this way would be a lot quicker. Instead of going through the faff of returning the whole. Had no option to request just the piece that was missing. Very disappointed
