I bought this for use on a large potted rosemary shrub that I've got in my apartment during the long cold winter. It's now been in use for about a month and after putting it on the soil I'm seeing much more new growth of my rosemary plant than before I used it. It looks like it's turning out to be a really good product and unless something goes terribly wrong I foresee using this for a long time to come. It is also having a very similar positive effect on an oregano plant I also have in a pot. I plan on also using it for some other potted herbs and peppers I'll be growing in pots in my apartment. If my opinion of this product changes in the future I'll update this review to reflect why I've changed my mind about this product. Based on my experience so far though I'd recommend it to others. If you are just using this on a few potted plants like I am the 3 pound size jar like I got is probably much more than you will need so for a few potted plants I'd recommend checking to see if there is a 1 pound size instead.

As advertised, it faithfully feeds for upto 4 months! I have obtained and used quite a few "slow release" or "Controlled" release fertilizers before, but this by far works the best!
You got to pay attention to the labels and be careful about how much you feed though. If the right amounts are fed, you can literally forget about feeding your plants for a good 4 months!
My only regret, at the moment, is that this product does not seem to available for international shipping anymore!
