Impractically small

With the barest essentials (3 GooTubes, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shave foam) I'm just about able to roll it shut if I spend some time nudging things around. When I add my deodorant, face scrub, and a small tub of hair gel, I can only fold it in half and have to fully extend the buckle for it to snap.

There are some nifty details (like that ring-pull zipper on the pouch) and the material choices and stitching are all what I'd expect of the brand, but it doesn't matter: this bag is impractically small.

Pocket dimensions: the zippered mesh pockets are each about 4" tall. The opaque zippered area below them is divided into two ~1.5" tall pockets. The bottom pouch is ~4" tall and its depth tapers from ~2.5" (near the top) to ~1.5" (near the bottom).

I've included a couple of side-by-side size comparison photos: the big black & gray bag is my busted old Eagle Creek Wallaby. The purple one is my partner's travel bag: the Tom Bihn Deluxe Spiff Kit, and hanging from it is a 3D Clear Organizer Cube for liquids.

I've ordered a Sea to Summit "Travelling Light" hanging toiletry bag to try instead of this one. The Sea to Summit bag has a deeper bottom pouch and is designed to be folded in half, so I think I'll be able to fit more in it.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I hate having luggage, so I do anything I can to decrease what I carry when traveling.
I put my toothbrush, and travel-sized non-liquid toiletries (e.g. make-up remover wipes, deodorant) in the top two mesh areas, and only a comb in the bottom opaque zippered compartment, leaving space for my liquids bag to be there while in use.
The tiny center pockets are just the right size for my floss packets and lip balm.
I have only used this for air travel so far, but will use it for camping in the future.

I don't see where it is that practical. It's 4.55 oz so it is not ultralight in my opinion but it is well made. The compartments inside are odd size to hold things I take. They all seem to be too large or too small and if you put anything large in it it's hard to roll and takes way too much room in your pack. Its also too small to hold everything you will need when on a road trip or flying someplace. I've tried this for both and it just doesn't work well for either. Ziploc bags are still better for hiking as they will also keep things dry and you can see what is in each bag with less weight. I went back to my old Eddie Bauer hanging travel toiletry bag for traveling by car or plane.

This is easily the best toiletry kit I've ever owned, and I've been on the search for the "perfect" toiletry kit for quite some time. The design is perfect for the way I travel, and the materials and construction feel top-notch. It is extremely lightweight and very flexible. I love the design of the "hook" at the top, which I think some other reviewers didn't really get. Yes, there is a small plastic hook that lies flat with the plane of the flap when opened. You can definitely use this hook on it's own to hook onto a small wall-hook or something, but really, if you flip over the strap that wraps the bag up, you can warp that around something larger, like a shower curtain rod, and then you can thread it through the small plastic hook, and the buckle will catch. So you can really secure this bag to pretty much any thing. The compartments are perfectly sized, and I like that it can get really compact if you are traveling light. Really, this is the perfect design for minimalist travel, but can expand to a reasonable size, even if you are not a minimalist. Very flexible!

Anything you buy from Osprey is not a purchase but an investment. You have forever warranty with this. After a long research between roll and zip organizer I finally zeroed on this. (There is also UL toiletry hanging kit but it’s out of my budget) The material, mesh and the zippers are of high quality. The compartments are small compared to other hanging toiletry bags. But my idea was to have a toiletry bag that is just enough so that I do not get tempted to fill the empty spaces and carry unnecessary things. This is great for a minimalist travel. When rolled it is of the size of a slim packing cube completely filled. Go for it and you won't be disappointed,

This thing holds so much more than I expected it to. The mesh pockets really do have a lot of room in them and I didn't realize the functional value of being able to see everything that was in them until I put it to good use. It has the same great quality & thoughtful design that all Osprey products have.

When it's half full it won't roll up as neatly or as tightly as it does in the photo, but that's to be expected. The outer strap allows for a lot of adjustment and keeps it shut tight even when the organizer is filled to the brim. It took up as much space in my pack as my Static V sleeping pad, but having all my toiletries, pills, band aids & mini hairbrush well organized & easy to find when I needed them made the trip so easy.

This is smaller than the average organizer you'll find at a grocery store, but it is a fairly large organizer for those looking to go ultralight backpacking. If you don't intend to use all the pockets in this thing, you may be better off finding one that is even smaller or dumping all your products in a 3 Liter dry sack to save room in your pack.

This lightweight organizer is a fabulous addition to standard gear for backpackers, travelers, or digital nomads. I initially purchased it to manage my cords, chargers, and office supplies in my backpack. At just over 12 oz, it barely adds weight to my backpack. It has two mesh zippered pockets, and then a fully enclosed zipper pocket. I currently have: a 4x4 post it block, my business cards, car and wall chargers for my mobile devices, a VGA adapter, earphones, an hdmi cord, and a fitbit charger in my organizer; it could fit much more than I have in there.

However, it would also work great for toiletries for a fairly minimalist traveler on a short trip - travel size bottles only, however, so probably enough for 3-4 days. I'm thinking of purchasing an additional one as a jewelry organizer for traveling as well - it's the perfect size, and much lighter than the ones I've seen available in stores.

This is a top notch bag, very good quality as you would expect. Zips are all solid, pockets are nice, nice clip, feels durable like it will last. Internally it has one big pocket at the bottom, 2 very small ones above it, then a bigger mesh one and a slightly smaller mesh one at the top.
My only problem, is once you fill it up, its very hard to roll up and looks a bit odd. If they would of just made it 5cm taller it would of been perfect. But as you put in some deodorant, toothbrush, shaver, shampoo it fills up the pockets but wont roll up fully. Therefore i would say its ideal for a very small 1/2 day trip but anything longer you will be left wanting for more space.

My mates are all impressed with how compact it is with all toiletries including a travel size bottle of shampoo, conditioner, perfume, hair brush, bar of soap, pomade, face moisturiser and hand moisturiser.
