Kids daypack, the Jet offers stretch mesh front pocket, 2 side mesh pockets, fleece lined harness, and internal organizer
Incorporating Osprey's legendary technical design into an everyday kids' pack, the Osprey 18-liter Jet daypack is ideal for school, play, and just about everything else. The Jet features Osprey's Airscape ridge-molded foam back panel, which offers ample ventilation to keep your child comfortable throughout the day. The pack's sewn-in foam-padded harness and mesh hip belt, meanwhile, help distribute weight evenly across the body. The harness includes an adjustable sternum strap with a rescue whistle buckle, while the hipbelt offers a modified ErgoPull closure to ensure a secure fit. Most importantly, the Jet boasts plenty of storage space, with a dual-zippered panel-loading main compartment, a stretch-woven front pocket, dual stretch-woven side pockets, and a top zippered slash pocket. Combined, the pockets and compartments store everything from clothes to books to water bottles. The pack even includes an organization pocket inside the front panel for pens, an iPod, and other gadgets.

Another thing I really don't like about it is the stiff fabric covering the zippers. I had a hard time with the zipper, so I can only imagine how frustrated my son would get with it.
With that said, I do think it is a well made pack and attractive looking. However, I just couldn't get past the size and zipper issue.
I searched high and low to find a pack that was small enough for my 5yr old; yet large enough to hold a 2in binder, lunch, jacket, and whatever else. This little pack arrived and is perfect!! It has ALL the comfort adjustments to make it easy for him to carry. Chest and waist clip. It wasn't sliding off his tiny shoulders. It wasn't choking him when you do up the chest clip. VERY comfortable. Inside has just enough compartments to make it very useful. Love it.
I find that the main compartment zipper is a little stubborn for her little fingers. However she seems to have gotten the hang of it. She loves her backpack especially the double safety clips she insists on using and she can maneuver on her own. It's also the perfect size and fit for her and can holds a good number of notebooks comfortably.
