The title pretty much says it all. When I got it I was shocked at how small the pouch is. When you open it, it is a full size fanny pack that is quite functional, lightweight, comfortable, well built and a pretty slick design. Really like it, but it is pretty hard to get the thing folded up back neatly into a pouch. It usually ends up looking like a ball when packed rather than a nice rectangular zippered pouch. Maybe there's a good way to fold it up that I'm not aware of and if there is, osprey should put a video tutorial on their site or on Amazon here to show you how to fold it up, like a certain technique such as the way you would fold up a parachute for instance. Other than that, it's pretty boss but I think it's also a little too expensive for what it is.

I have owned a wide variety of Osprey waist packs and prefer the light weight and inconspicuous size of this model...However, the waist strap releases under strain. This is probably a safety feature but it releases while straining on hikes. Osprey, please reconsider design of the plastic buckle.

What a great general use waist pack. Started using it while fishing and at the campsite, but now I rock this thing grocery shopping in the burbs. Typically holds a knife, wallet, phone, and keys. My only wish is that it had a thicker waist strap so it was more comfortable over long periods.
