I have yet to try this. The only thing I don't like (other than the weird part problem) is that the smaller bowl won't fit onto the base alone, it fits nested inside the 14 cup bowl and they both sit on the base. I really didn't want this gigantic item on my counter. I'm also wondering when I use the 5 cup bowl if I'll be happy with just cleaning that. We'll see.
I usually don't post a review until I've used an item quite a number of times. However, with the prospect of a manufacturing error (?), I want to give everyone a heads-up. I'll write more/amend this once I use the product.

Alas, it is as I feared, the 14 cup bowl will need a bit of cleaning when only using the smaller 5 cup bowl. However, it is just the rim and one paper towel with Windex spritzed on it does the trick. A quick swipe, one time around the bowl fixes the problem. Never the less, it is a flaw. Also, and this is a BIG problem, it is almost impossible to get the small bowl out of the big one once you have finished slicing and dicing. I tossed some left over meat into the processor to chop it up and took off the lid when I was finished. I was peering at a bowl full of chopped meat and no way to lift out the bowl. I eventually took out the blade and stuck my thumb into the bowl's center hole (sounds more interesting than it actually was).
So, I sort of bought a pig in a poke this time. On the bright side, this food processor will rock when I cook holiday meals: it's a monster and I can have one bowl full while filling another. Also, if this was a car, it would be a muscle car as its motor is really strong (a problem with my last processor). Finally, it is solid and has suction cupped feet. It is also an attractive device. The price, of course, was incredibly reasonable.
I can only hope that Oster keeps trying (maybe that's why it seems to be off the market), if they rectify a few small problems, they will have the best/highest quality product on the market.
I bought this because I thought it would be a good food processor. However, I am very unhappy that I purchased it. The worst thing is that the bowl leaks horribly. Why would anyone design a food processor that doesn't actually hold food (and liquids) well enough to keep them in the bowl? Put stuff in this POS and it's a guaranteed explosion in your kitchen.
I could write more, but do I have to? Don't buy it or you will be sorry (and cleaning up a huge mess).
The meat was getting forced up under and into the blade tube and back down through the blade riser tube and pushing emulsified meat between the top of the processor base and the under side of the processors bowl.
I was able to finish the job by packing cellophane wrap up into the blade cavity until it sealed the gap.
It's as if the blade angle is wrong and acting like a pump rather than lifting the meat off the bottom of the processor bowl.
In the past I have only used this processor for grating cheese and cutting butter into flour and it worked fine for that.
I decided ok, I'm gonna get the biggest baddest one in the store, and if it cant cut potatoes, back to the store it goes. Well holly crap!!! my potato disappeared in front of my eyes, it was like a magic trick. In half the time it took me to normally make this meal, I made this meal and salsa. I'm impressed.
The only thing that puzzled me was I was looking online to see if there were any additional attatchments, and Oster doesn't even list it on their website.
I would recommend this to a friend or family.
