As much work as a regular cork screw, but way cooler!

Pretty neat little device, but the corks occasionally get stuck inside it. If this happens, just push a butter knife up against the cork while pushing the button in reverse. This should start the cork unwinding from the screw.

I assumed from the reviews this would be a great product. But in the month we have had it, it doesn't work. Thinking it hadn't been charged long enough, it never would bring the cork out of the bottle. There is something that is lose inside. Now it's too late to return it and we are disappointed. Guess I should known something was wrong from the start but being an OSTER that didn't make sense to us. We will have to purchase another.

I ordered this item both for myself and for my mom, because a friend had one similar but I didn’t know the brand. This item doesn’t actually work! Both my mothers and mine work so to get the cork screw in the wine cork but it doesn’t actually remove it from the bottle. Poor purchase very disappointing! I ordered my moms before the holidays and I didn’t use mine until I after the return date had passed now I have just a piece of plastic on my wine fridge that doesn’t actually work.

I bought one of these 4 years ago and the only thing that ever wore out on it was the little foil cutter that got dull. I bought another one a month or two ago and the switch went out on it already. I guess 15 bucks isn't much, but there's no option to return it any more. I'll use the foil cutter from the new one and the old bottle opener I guess.

Easy to charge and operate. Has a handsome stand to keep it and the foil cutter handy. Opens 30 bottles before recharge it says. Great for off grid campiong when you still want some civilization and cocktails. I like the cork discharge function; makes it easy to get the cork off the opener.

I am not as impressed with this wine opener as the positive reviews originally led me to believe. Maybe I am just an idiot but I feel like I have to make sure to put it in exactly the right way (right in the center) and then hold the bottle at the right angle to have the cork completely leave the bottle. Half the time the cork gets stuck midway through to coming out and I can pull it out with my hands but that kind of defeats the purpose of a fancy electric wine opener right? I may amend my review if I get better at using this. Regardless, it looks pretty on my bar!
