Editorial Reviews

From the Author

What makes this book interesting is that it was contrived by the answers in a survey I gave to around twenty people of all different ages, beliefs, and backgrounds. The opinions about God, Heaven, hell, Jesus, and Satan can be summed up in this intriguing, spiritual, fiction novel. Read it for yourself and see if you agree with Jim, Marilyn, and Cindy who thought is was thought-provoking, as well as other readers who said they couldn't put it down!

About the Author

I grew up in a small town in western Kansas. After marrying Shawn Kari, we lived in Colorado, and then southern California. After twenty-nine years of marriage, we continue to reside in Victorville, California, with our two children, Alexis (15) and Jesse (13), and our many pets.
On the Other Side of the Glass is my first stab at fiction -- it launches Nov. 1 and will be available at Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, as well as other bookstores and sites. The book seems to be a hit so far with great feedback and reviews (some of which can be found on my site: christikari.com). The book is also being featured in the October issue of Renew Magazine-VA. Check it out for yourself!

Format: Paperback
While the novel deals with the lives of fictional characters, it gives readers examples of how a person can make changes in their own life. People who face adversity in the book opt to deal with their misery in varied ways, and their outcomes reveal the consequences of their actions.

With a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, "On the Other Side of the Glass" is entertaining as well as uplifting.
"On the Other Side of the Glass" would serve well as a teaching book for parents and teens to read and discuss together, as well as a good selection for a book group.

On the Other Side of the Glass, is a book that teaches us about our lives now and reminds of our eternal lives to come. This book is a Christian book, but non-Christians will love it too. God loves us and provides for us, but we must acknowledge Him, believe in Him, and Know Him. This book makes those things easy.

No matter what religion or spiritual belief one may have,The Other Side of the Glass is an enlightening novel. Open your mind and consider the possibilities- that's what i did while reading... She writes with her heart, and she writes with sensitivity, she's written a book that leaves you thinking about it long after you've finished. What DOES happen to us after our life here is over??

A thought-provoking fairly fast read. Will be sending this to my daughter.... Two thumbs up.

At first, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book as I thought it was a "Christian" do good or else type novel. However, I found myself reading this book slowly as it gave me time to think about the "philosophy" of this novel. I liked that it was a book that anyone could read. It made you think beside enjoying the story. I like that!!!
