Now for the cons. I wish the hub used better rope/straps to attach to the screws. Not a huge deal, but some comparable shacks have better straps. The bag is also a bit tight with the hub inside. My brother's Clam bag is oversized, and his house easily fits inside. I really have to squeeze my hub in the bag to get it to zip shut. I also wish there were cargo nets on the top of the shack for more storage. Again, a few other comparable shacks have this. Last one is not so much a con, and could be a pro. The Otter is pretty heavy. It's not as heavy as some, but heavier than other thermal shacks.
I'd give the Otter Lodge Hub 4 1/2 stars. The cons were very minor, and the pros easily outweigh them. We'll see how it holds up after time, but I'm not too worried. I love that the hub doesn't sweat, and retains heat well. I was able to get one on sale for $280.
