How to use the Cresimo Cocktail Shaker Set to get the most out of it!

Step 1 - Prepare your cocktail recipe from the included booklet.
- Pour all the ingredients into the mixing section of the cocktail shaker, using the jigger.
Step 2 - Add ice to the mixing section.
- Ice is filled so that the mixing section is 2/3 to 3/4 full.
Step 3 - Put the lid with the built-in strainer on top of the mixing section.
- The small lid is placed on top of the strainer.
Step 4 - Tap the top of the shaker with the palm of your hand to seal it tight.
- Make sure its sealed well.
Step 5 - Hold the shaker in both hands, with one hand on top and one supporting the base.
- Shake well for 10 to 20 seconds.
Step 6 - Remove the small lid and pour the drink through the strainer into a chilled cocktail glass and
- Enjoy your cocktail!

Do you want your friends, dates, loved ones or burglars to know that you like to get wasted in a classy way that says "I can't afford champagne"? Then this is the product for you! Nothing says sophistication like a mixed drink after a long hard days work of being an upper middle class office drone. Impress your friends, impress your lovers, try to impress yourself as you drink alone. My only regret was that the gin wasn't included.

Seriously, it's a good starter set for your bar or career as a hobby mixologist.

Works like a charm and doesn't leak, which is a problem I've had in the past. The build is also really solid. Nothing feels flimsy. The stirring spoon, while thin by necessity, doesn't bend after applying pressure (I essentially did a stress test). The main chamber and jigger are a satisfying thickness without feeling too bulky.

The only thing I'd like to have seen is a "half" marker on each side of the jigger. This isn't a huge minus for me, though.

This is a really nice beginner set if you want to mix drinks in the comfort of your home. I got the 3-piece set which came with the cocktail shaker, a jigger, mixing spoon and the recipe book. The shaker has a strainer that's included (cobbler-style) and so far, it has been great for mixing drinks. It's made of stainless steel and feels like a quality shaker. Be aware that it can be cold to the touch. Haven't had any trouble with leakage or anything yet. So far, so good!

It’s very solid and feels more substantial than the price would indicate. It works well with no leaking or spilling and is super easy to use. I love the little measuring cup...I felt like Tom Cruise in Cocktail using it in front of our friends...although my wife discouraged me from throwing bottles in the air! I suspect we’ll be using this for more than just Margaritas in the near future.

I love this cocktail shaker. It’s sturdy and handsome and practical. It’s easy to clean and fun to use. The only time it leaked was when I put the top on WITH the pour-spout cover already attached. If you put the lid and THEN the spout cover on, you wont have any problem. It is big enough for single or double cocktails. I even used it to make 4 Mojitos at one time and it worked fine, there just wasn’t a lot of room for ice.

We've used this cocktail shaker about a dozen times now and really like it. All parts fit together nicely and do not leak. From reading other reviews on this item and as well as similar ones, it appears that one trick to avoid leaks is to make sure you set the large lid on first, making sure it is evenly seated (although not forced on tightly), then place the small lid on top. Doing it this way lets the air out so the large lid seats properly to avoid any leaks. When finished, reverse the process, taking the small lid off (pour the drinks if you need to use the strainer feature) and then remove the large lid. We have not had any trouble removing the large lid from an icey cold container doing it this way.

It does come with a small measuring jigger, which is nice and a pretty stainless steel stirring spoon. The set would make a nice gift. We don't use the stirring spoon as MI6 requires its 00 level agents to have their martinis shaken, not stirred.

It is plenty big enough to make cocktails for two people, and like I said, it seems very high quality. No problem getting the top and bottom separated either (this was mentioned in some other review). Well fitted, well made. Now I want to look for a similar 32 oz version, for parties.
