Scott Ott is a genius at satire. Unfortunately, it seems like this could be used as a textbook in a present day college class, and the satire part would fly right over the students' heads.

Scott Ott's brand of satire is how good satire is written. No wonder Rush mentions him periodically on his radio show. Enjoyed this comical short read. Caution: Progressives probably won't find it as humorous as I did. They'd use it as a study manual :)

This is a hilarious fractured take on the preamble to our Constitution. Scott Ott is a master of satire, and this is an excellent brief example of his talent.

Author should be writing the next communist manifesto. The author's attempt to justify a government that disregards th individual is laughable.

Scott Ott is the best. His analysis of the Preamble to the Constitution is a history lesson on the corruption of the United States founding ideas.

Mr. Ott does his usual deft satire here. He imagines he's have to explain to someone the "obvious" liberal meanings hidden in the US constitution.

Wish that it had been more than an essay.

I agree with this review of the book from PJMedia.com [...]"the book not only provides a satirical look at the left's approach to the Constitution, but which does so in a way that also reminds us, as conservatives, about what we know to be true about the Constitution as well. ... It's a must read for every conservative who hasn't taken time to check himself for contradictions lately."

Scott Ott makes serious and salient points with humor and disarming charm. In this book, he explicates the arguments of those who undermine the words and the intent of the Constitution and the idea of a Constitutionally Limited Republic with a separation of powers, checks and balances and a Rule of Law. Scott Ott presents and then answers the arguments against the Constitution in a manner that does not engender anger.
