I love this book because the author Matt Buonocore's poetry is so descriptive and honest about his spiritual journey and awakening. He describes suffering and surrender and how things are not always perfect. He describes in his poetry how life is full of dark and light but that is liife and life is so beautiful. Not only does he describe life but his journey from suffering to healing. He writes about his love for his girlfriend Alaina and how their love healed each other. Through this journey of loveand healing, they could then help heal others and shine their light. I highly recommend this book. It is beautifully written and so uplifting. It is also relatable where one doesn't have to feel alone as they travel through their own personal journey.
