Television appearances on QVC and her lifestyle show, “Sentimental Living “ featured a focus on décor, cooking and gardening as Writer, Executive Producer, creative director, and host.

The Alda’s company was sold in 2009 to Hoffman media- a role she left to begin her next endeavor in building a wedding focused business. She and her husband launched a highly acclaimed wedding venue business by both the Knot and Wedding Wire. Their historic lakeside home is the inspiration for her all-inclusive creative weddings that include the bride arriving via horse and carriage, dove release, vintage cars, and hand-built wooden canoes for a groom’s arrival to the altar with the evening ending in fireworks.

This is the perfect wedding planner. Every detail is covered. I am only going to plan one wedding and and with so much to be done I was overwhelmed. Even if you have a wedding coordinator I suggest this planner. It is written by someone with the experience of doing hundreds of weddings. This planner takes you through everything that you could possibly need to plan and makes sure you do not miss a thing. It is beautifully and lovingly put together and something I will treasure as a keepsake as well.

This book is beautiful, but the real gift is the tools included. Miss Alda brings her 20 years of event and wedding planning to the pages of this book and a bride is walked through every decision for planning a wedding. Its like having a wedding planner in your pocket at any moment. This will be on my list of first gifts to any newly engaged couple. Oh, and its BEAUTIFUL and I love the encouragement of scriptures woven throughout the book.
