Out Cold, which looks like it would be nothing more than a spectacular series of snowboarding stunts, is actually a homage to Casablanca set on a rustic Alaskan ski slope called Bull Mountain. Rick (Jason London from Dazed and Confused), who hopes to run Bull Mountain, can't forget about Anna, the French girl he romanced while vacationing in Mexico. When a ruthless developer (Lee Majors, star of The Six Million Dollar Man) wants to turn the rough-and-tumble site into a sleek, tourist-friendly resort named Snownook, Rick discovers that Anna is the developer's daughter. Will he be seduced to the dark side by love and ambition? Alongside scenes "borrowed" from Casablanca, there's an abundance of high jinks with Rick's slacker snow buddies, cute girls (including Playmate of the Year Victoria Silvstedt), and some pretty amazing snowboarding sequences. Dumb but good-natured fun, and Majors clearly enjoys himself as the bad guy. --Bret Fetzer

So many times it seems that the best movies fly under the radar. "Dude, Where's My Car?" did more at the box office than "Out Cold". There is something wrong with that. A.J. Cook and Victoria Silvstedt provide plenty of eye candy, but the movie itself is hilarious. Most people my age (23) won't get the Casablanca references but that's okay. Those who do get them will laugh even harder. This isn't classic comedy nor does it claim to be, but if you want a good laugh from a hilarious movie, this is always an excellent choice.

Well, I think Out Cold is just one of the best comedies out there. I totally recommend this movie, to anyone that enjoyed at least a bit movies such as American Pie series, Road Trip, Eurotrip,... It's just one of those movies, that makes you watch it over and over and over again. It has some seriously hilarious jokes in it. The best ones are those, which are featuring the two brothers. Beside these jokes, you also have a few really nice girls in this movie, especially A.J. Cook.

Well I swear aou will enjoy this movie. It is a must have for any student out there. The perfect movie to watch, if you want to laugh and laugh and laugh.

Out Cold is a laugh a minute film with enough crude humor to keep a guy begging for more! Life long friends struggling to keep their jobs, their mountain, and what little brain function they have left, they clumsily make and bail on their best laid plans. With Lee Majors planning to take over their treasured existence, (Colt Severs?... the Million Dollar Man?.... A villain? Say it isn't so!!) It'll take every one of them to keep that mountain from changing... that is if they can keep their privates out of the hot tub jets, their hearts in the right place and not wipe out on the way down! The perfect movie to watch when you're stuck inside during the winter with no snow to shred!

This isn't a very well-known movie as far as I'm aware, but I am happy to have been introduced to it and had to have it in my library. It's more of a stupid funny movie so it caters well to that type of audience...which I fit into quite well. The DVD doesn't offer too much in extras as far as I remember, but there's really no need for any.

This is one of my all time favorite movies (right up there with Grandma's Boy, Super Troopers, and Euro Trip) It's a hilarious movie but if you don't like somewhat stupid and crude humor you probably won't enjoy it nearly as much. zach galifianakis is hilarious, this is one of the first movies I ever actually saw him in and I have been a fan ever since. This is a great fun movie and will totally make you wish you lived in Alaska, worked at a ski mountain and had friends like these. The car scene... no one can tell me they watched that and didn't immediately wish they could pull that prank on a friend. The characters are lovable and hilarious, all of them (Pig Pen, Jenny, Rick, Luke, Anthony, Lance...) and this is one of those movies I watch over and over again and never get tired of it, and I quote it all the time. I highly recommend this to any and everyone!

Great movie, great soundtrack, great actors. Very, very funny and an instant cult classic. Zach G. (you try spelling it without looking it up...) is funny as always and the rest of the cast all work perfectly together. The actual DVD and its case is a typical DVD so not much to say about that other than it doesn't suck, wasn't broken when I got it, and plays just fine with no skips or anything. Definitely recommend this movie to anyone.

Yes, the movie is juvenile. Yes, the movie has some gross out moments. Yes, the plot is basic.

But it is still fun! I know that now that I am in my twenties, I am supposed to be more into classical films and literature, and modern smart and well written films and literature, and I am, but I also really like movies like this.

Films like Out Cold, Hackers, Grind , etc. all have that same magical combination of good times, outrageous skills or situations, comedy, adventure, and some deeper meaning. Ultimately, these types of movies speak to the inner child in all of us, especially those of us that missed out on some of the light hearted teen years, due to some reason, or another.

Don't watch this movie to learn anything, or to expand your mind. Watch it to have a good time, and get some great laughs.
